  1. Can you imagine if all games went digital only and then in 6-8 months release a collecter physical copy

  2. Every time a game gets a Limited Run physical release I sail the high seas for proper ownership.

  3. I was watching Meta Connect yesterday and was surprised to see that the most expensive Quest 3 model is getting a price drop. For the cost of the PS5 Pro, disk drive, and stand you can get the cheapest Quest 3S and the most expensive Quest 3. I never want to hear "VR is expensive" again.

  4. I don’t know if there is a phrase I love more in gaming then “free demo, your save data will transfer to the min game”

  5. Assassin’s Creed Shadows is now releasing the same month as Like a Dragon: Yakuza Pirates in Hawaii. Ubisoft is about to be mogged by their own pirate game, but done better!

  6. I had to borrow my friend's PS4 just to play Ghost of Tsushima because good ol' Sorny won't sell us the game in the PC

  7. I’m more excited for Legend of Link than TotK. I never even picked up TotK, since BotW was too long and too had much going on for me to feel like it had any driving factors pushing me to play. I prefer straightforward games over these massive open world games that seem to give you tons to do but no reason to do it.

  8. If you're curious about the new Zelda, it's an environmental puzzler with no combat. If that interests you, go for it, it's pretty good.

  9. I just wish Ubisoft would sell the Splinter Cell IP since they just don’t give it any love. Who knows how the SC remake will turn out but I am nervous since their quality has dropped over the years…

  10. Managed to preorder a 30th anniversary Dualsense controller which is what I was hoping for the most. No chance ordering the console lmao.

  11. It's crazy…all Ubisoft has to do is listen to the majority of their fan base and they would get a slam dunk! But nope! They keep trying to appeal to the twitter crowd who don't even buy games to begin with.

  12. Spawn is literally the only person I've seen excited about the PS5 pro. I wonder if he knows no one can afford it so we just aren't interested lol

  13. Graphics really nice. Hope to see Pokemon with these graphics. Being able to enter a pot and jump is such a mood haha

  14. I would be a lot more into Metaphor if I didn't know there will be a final version that also has its own DLC that will releases in 2 years and theyll refuse to sell the new content without a full purchases of the game again

Hey it works though Maybe the final edition will be on Switch 2. Theres plenty of games and ive already waited years for Metaphor, i kind wait a couple more for them to actually finish the game

  15. Yep the ps5 pro is so expensive. The normal pro is $1200 aussie bucks. The 30th edition of the ps5 pro is already on ebay for $5000 – $10000

  16. Can't wait to hear more about Ghost of Yotei, it seems it could go really well or extremely bad depending on which choices the devs and publisher take along the way. Tsushima is still in my backlog but I have high hopes for it.

  17. Entire video game industry shooting themselves in the foot. Except Nintendo.

  18. 9:00 This letter is from corporate which is in France. AC Shadows is made in Quebec Canada. The last words in the letter says "our goal is not to push any specific agenda". Maybe corporate needs to ensure their subsidiaries are not giving off that perception.

  19. 15:51 80 fps actually doesn't work great with 120 Hz displays (without VRR at least). With 40 fps, it works nicely, because you get a new frame every 3 updates. With 60 fps, you get a new frame every 2 updates. With 80 fps, you'll get the following though

    Update 1 – New frame
    Update 2 – Same frame
Update 3 – New frame (16.66 ms since last frame)
    Update 4 – Same frame
Update 5 – New frame (16.66 ms since last frame)
Update 6 – New frame (8.33 ms since last frame)
    Update 7 – Same frame

and then the pattern repeats from update 1. It's uneven – sometimes a frame lingers 8.33 ms, sometimes it lingers 16.66 ms. You'd need a 240 Hz screen for 80 fps to work well without VRR

Maybe the mode mentioned for Stellar Blade is actually a VRR mode targeting 80fps, rather than a locked 80 fps mode?

  20. 8K 60 FPS maxes out HDMI 2.1 bandwidth at 24 bpp SDR. So in order to do 8K60, assuming you have a TV that supports that (you don't, by the way), you'll either have to disable HDR or use chroma subsampling (but in that case it's effectively not 8K at all anymore). 8K was a lie on the original PS5 packaging, and it's still a lie for PS5 Pro.

  21. If only there was some kind of limbless Legend to come save Ubisoft…

  22. 8:12 That's not isometric. In fact, no Zelda game has ever been isometric
That's just top-down view, but it has nothing to do with isometric

  23. Someone really should call out a lot of these Review sites, they never provide an easy way to check the reviewers biased against certain games or styles of games. Consistently, if you check the reviews of people who give a game low marks, you can find that they always give that type of game or a specific game like Zelda low marks.

  24. You know what? Now I want Sucker Punch to drop Ghost of Yotei on the same day as AC: Shadows 😏

  25. If Ubisoft changes Yasuke to a Japanese dude my jaw will drop to the floor…

  26. You're right. When it comes to VR the pricei s a huge factor. Meanwhile HTC is putting out a headset that costs a grand, and while it looks good…. the Quest 3 is around half that.

  27. ubisoft will need to get comfortable with not getting game sales and their stock continuing to drop, after their executive said gamers will need to get comfortable not owning their games. You reap what you sow.

  28. Echoes of wisdom has really bad performance on the right side of the map and in a particular dungeon it runs terrible. But is still fun and looks better when playing in handheld . The echoes comment yeah sometimes it gets a bit much and most you won’t use (at least for now I haven’t).
