  2. Entertainment Critic ratings are pointless, they almost never reflect how a community will enjoy the product. Peoples independent rating is a better indicator.

  3. Who pays attention to Critic reviews anymore?? Most of them are payed for and most of them said Concord was a great game. We live in such a clown world that if the "Official Critic" review score is REALLY negative for a piece of media…that usually means its good.

  4. I think the game is overprized but i realy am so hyped for it. I was worried about the 6 missions in operations at launch but will definatly grind out all 6 classes in PvE. But the prizetag gives me Evolve/Back4Blood vibes. Could easiely be 35€-40€ and 60€ish for the ultimate. They loose out on a alot of potential players because of it. I realy realy hope content comes sooner than later. And ye lets see about pvp

  5. I can’t count how many times I replayed the campaign in the first space marine game, not to mention all the time I spent playing PVP. 13 years later and I have much less free time and way more responsibilities so a short campaign doesn’t bother me much. If they continue to add operations for PVE that I can play with my friends I will be so happy. If the PVP is like the first game it is going to be great.

  6. Additionally, I don’t believe that the costs to make video games is “skyrocketing”. That’s vehemently not true. lol

  7. I think those scumbags are counting the co-op PVE as part of the campaign, either that or content that was cut out to piece-meal back to us. Such a shame.

  8. I don’t want an 40/50/60 hour game. I have a life. I want to be able to complete a game and for it not to be stuffed with stuff for the sake of it. Six hours of fun, plus whatever else I play the other modes for sounds a good deal. To put it into context, I enjoy hiking, with the fuel costs etc, it would cost me about the same as the game.

  9. The people complaining about the playtime of the campaign are people that grew up only playing games like call of duty and Fortnite and think a good game is one that's dragged out past its prime and milked to death. Also they've clearly never played Halo or Gears of War with saying "leave the pvp to the actual pvp gamnes" literal retards.

  10. I'm glad that they have pvp, as someone who loved the old space marine multiplayer game, I think loyalist vs chaos space marines is cool and honestly would love them to support both PVP and PVE modes similarly with COD supporting multiplayer and zombies in the older treyarch black ops

  11. I heard there’s side missions in the story which might bump that time up. Overall I’m happy with the price as I’m not getting micro transactions thrown in my face. With the pvp and pve modes too I think the price is just right

  12. I'm actually really hoping Space Marine's 2 PvP is good, admittedly im not a die hard warhammer fan; I love Halo and always Halo, but Halo's multiplayer is f*cked and Destiny 2… I don't even want to get into that. I just pray Space Marines 2 can be a good all rounder and crutch for the multiplayer sci-fi shooter genre.

  13. I wanted to buy the game on release but then I saw a 10h solo campaign ? So basically less because we're gamers. And I was like "yeah no, I changed my mind, I'll just wait for a discount and lose myself again in Monster Hunter World"

  14. Comparing this to ER is pure brainrot, also for a game like this 6-8h is plenty for a campaign. Anyone with minimal interest in the game who did minimal research on it knows exactly what to expect. They've been so transparent that reviewers couldn't bring any new infos into their reviews😂. FOR THE EMPEROR!

  15. This game is a perfect package, its being released with a working pvp/pve and a functional campaign. Thats more than most games with this price tag have and im all for it. Ignore the critics.

  16. Can’t trust pcgaming articles I’m honestly shocked they didn’t slam it for a lack of diversity. Honestly just expect the WWZ experience but in 40k. BG3 is all about replayability more than anything and space marines 2 does offer that key word. Like BG3 all added gameplay content will be free unlike majority AAA and AAAA games

  17. Ok I work for a living, a husband, and a father. So it will take me weeks to get though 6 hours 20 mins of main story time. I'm still hyped and excited with just a few hours to go for ps5.

  18. The pvp comment at the end is wildly out of touch. The first space marine game still has a cult following of players killing eachother every weekend. Us old folks like arena shooters get over it.

  19. I will definitely look into this game again a year or two from now….but Warframe gives me hundreds of hours for free….and this will not be viable in any way in the shadow of that no matter how much I love Warhammer, which was a love developed probably a good decade and a half before Warframe ever existed. So yeah….I been looking forward to this for a long time…..I can wait a few more years.

  20. I'm a single player mostly, but I did enjoy playing "Helldivers 2" PVE for quite a few weeks. I could see myself doing the same with "Space Marine 2", if the PVE campaign is good enough, but I won't touch PVP (absolutely hate it in general). As for the price, the game is available in Europe (France) for around €46-47, which is fair given the amount of content.

  21. Obvious lack of content was obvious.

Seriously, who is surprised by this?

  22. I'll be clear, saying that any big games at 60 should offer a minimum game time is completely and utterly stupid.
Games are designed a specific way if you don't like the fact this one is a high octane high speed story, which knowing the previous one will not relent in trying to massacre you, it may be "only" twelve hours but knowing the previous one, you will NOT see the time fly.

  23. Some of these Steam disscusions have a point. Especially the Elden Ring DLC one. Yet I'm conflicted, its a different studio, different game. One is about exploring and killing unique and different enemies / bosses whilst the other is about massive waves of enemies and shoot' em down with big guns. Again, I absolutely see the point of what the guy is saying. I dont know where to stand because I'm just hoping that studios that could be scummy will start delivering higher priced games for less and less content.

Its hard to explain but the best way I can put it is by thinking of the original CoD Modern Warfare 2 game. You' have your campaign, the awesome Spec Ops mission and them some PvP. It was a neat and high quality package. If they do add more operations overtime and eventually even the Horde mode I think the price will hold up well. I've spend countless of hours in Hordemode or Wavemode games…Black Ops or Killing Floor.

Meanwhile I'll also cross my fingers we get some unexpected factions later down the line 🙂

  24. soooo much potential on the pvp side……add playable tyranids….why not….sprinkle some chaos in there

  25. While 6 hours feels a bit short you have to base it on the type of game, I don't want a game like this to take 100 hours to finish, it isn't BG3! Go to your local cinema and buy 3 tickets, thats about 6 hours of film based entertainment, you are probably looking close to the cost of the standard edition of the game and cinemas have no "replayability". The time for cost argument will just lead to bloated games. Maybe play on harder difficulty and take a bit longer, savior the game and look forward to future play throughs again. (I've played Space Marine 1 5-6 times over the years too)

  26. pc games rated it 6/10 , they got prolly paid by ubisoft to say shitt and rate it compared to gollum , the guy from pc games who rated it 6/10 dont know what a good game is

  27. Top commentor on the last video obviously didn't play the first game then, it had a dedicated pvp playerbase of 40k fans for years!!

  28. Add 8v8 even 12 v 12 on big maps tdm, make it feel like an actual space battle in a gothic castle, on a ship with levels, frag out, last man standing with maybe 8 players surviving hordes in a last stand stand sort of deal, theres allot of good things to work with, more customizable options, you can visualy represent lore battles in this, its a stretch but add more of the chaos demons as chapters like nurgle etc.

Ill add this to the idea pile, I just diacovered the lore a few weeks ago in waiting for this game and I got even more excited. Theres allot they can do with it.

  29. I bought the cheapest one on cdkeys and glad I did. I knew this would end up being short when the dev said 12 hrs.
I did guess it at around 9…10 so to hear it's 6..7 sucks, although that's around the playtime of the earlier Gears Of War games.
I still think that unless you can get this cheaper than what they are asking, give it a miss for a month because it will drop quickly once the word gets out it's short.

  30. Hmmm, it makes me not wanna preorder now. Last time i preordered, i was heavily disappointed

  31. No Way I will buy this. 6 hours. Fck I played no rest for the wicked in early access have more than 12 hours. And it was for 30 euro.

  32. kind of expected honestly, when i seen space marine 2 i originally thought "this looks like a worse version of eternal crusade"
