Completely disagree with you. This was a 8/10 state of play. 1st party Ghosts!! 3 Amazing VR games, freebies with Dead Space and Tlou part1, Lego Horizon, Astro DLC Hell is US. Some filler that made it 8/10 but it wasnt terrible at all
This year made me glad I still have my ps2 and started collecting older games. Only had a few games on the ps5 I've actually played this year.
I don't mind if Ghost has a new protagonist or if it is a woman, as long as the story is good and gameplay better than the first i'm sold.
I'm actually happy about the Horizon zero Dawn $10 upgrade. I got the complete edition free a couple years ago when a buddy bought a system and gave me the code. So I don't mind paying the $10 and upgrading it because I still haven't played the game yet and I'm planning on getting a PS5 Pro. So I'll probably upgrade it and then play it on that system.

Soul reaver was the only good thing from the state of play. Everything else sucked.

The vr games look sweet a new hit man and that clay adventure game. and a new tshima type game so 3 decent games and a load of filler wasn't awful but mediocre at best
PS is dead but it was still better than your videos.
How can the one state of play that announces a big first party game be the worst? Are ppl clueless? State of plays are typically them just hitting marketing agreements with 3rd party studios.
if sucker punch "kills" Jin off then its like naughty dog killing off joel. these characters are a big reason why i return to a games 2nd installment. im sure ghost of yoeti will play very well but im absolutely not excited anymore, sucker punch pissed on my parade 😤 😒
The only things that caught my attention were the announcement of Photo Mode (confirmed) for Stellar Blade and the collaboration with NieR Automata. This makes sense, as Stellar Blade’s director has noted that NieR Automata served as an inspiration for the game.

The show was decent. Personally I put it in the B category for Hitman PSVR2. The PS5Pro isn't necessary at all ever in the entire world and history of gaming. An external/internal upgrade to existing PS5 would have been widely more accepted by the gamers. Food for thought.
I am very excited about Ghost 2 and really happy they decided to move up 300 years and have a totally fresh story with new characters. Can’t wait!

In case you wondered, yes, there are people who own Horizon and have never played it… I'm gonna get the upgrade when I play it, so sue me. But yes, I agree the State of Play was bad over all.
New Ghost game and reveal of next Alan Wake II DLC is enough for that thing to be an A for me. So excited.
