Season 4 Spoilers ahead

Okay, so I have a lot of thoughts after watching the last season. I liked how they had the concept of an original timeline. I liked the scene with Five discussing the problem with other versions of himself. I liked Diego and Luther's bonding while beating up on the CIA.

What I DID NOT LIKE was that Five and Lila got together romantically. AND how Five was willing to just live a peaceful life with her, abandoning all his ACTUAL FAMILY. The SAME FAMILY HE FOUR DECADES IN THE APOCALYSE TRYING TO GET BACK TO. I know you're tired, but it is literally out of character for you to give up on anything short of an actual apocalypse. And the fact that he chose to hide it from Lila for 5 MONTHS, that's just rude. Especially since he of all people would know what it feels like to be trapped, and separated from their family for years, longing to get home.

Also, what was the thing with them all sacrificing themselves? How does that exactly save all the other timelines? And why hadn't a different version of Five already done that? AND also, what about the other children who had marigold in them? Maybe not in the re-set Sparrow timeline, but in all the others! Unless they all inevitably end one way or another, OR end up as a re-set Sparrow Timeline. But even then, there would still be versions of the Umbrella Academy still around.

Abigail's motive was also a bit weird. Like, she created something dangerous, somehow dies without getting completely disintegrated. Someone ends up on the Moon. When does Reginal even come to Earth? We see him a least a hundred years before 1960s, and yet he released the marigolds from their home planet. Why did they take at least 20 years to impregnate some women? Also, where was that scene with Ben on the train from the Season 3 post credit scene? We never saw that. Then, she destroys the entirety of Earth, just to prove to Reginal that he made a mistake by bringing her back? I don't get it.

The first 4 episodes were fine. Maybe even the first half of the 5th one. But then things get really, really, REALLY MESSY.

Makes no sense if they had no powers to begin with at the start of season four

We really didn't need Victor. We waited this long for nothing!! Irrelevant person and character since szn 1 and after szn3 it doesn't even make sense for Victor to be part of the show 🙄😒

Man they ruined Five's character… I have never been disappointed with any of TUA's episode but I think episode 5 and 6 ruined the whole thing for me. Will just pretend that TUA has 3 seasons.
