I love PJ LOTR, everything in that saga is perfect, including the casting. BUT I would pay a lot of money to watch a remake with this casting. Nice work! And the soundtrack evolving according to each character, very well done, indeed.

It's 2024; you forgot to cast a female protagonist, all good people from an ethnic minority background and exclusively white guys to play the villains. Oh, and Sam and Frodo as a lesbian couple, of course.

You could make a great series out of LOR if Peter Jackson was directing (more than half of the book was left out).
Don't agree at all with Frodo (too young !), Arwen, Galadriel (not even close to Cate Blanchett) and Theoden casts mostly … some of them could be quite cool though …would be hard to match the original, but it would absolutely need to.

Sophie Turner as Eowyn looks interesting. I have to say tho' – Christopher Lee as Saruman was probably the best cast of the original. I just can not imagine literally anyone else in that role. Also the guy who played Gandalf was pure perfection imo.

I could very much go for this cast in a darker 'Zack Snyder' -esq reboot.
Sorry, Dinklage might not do it. He is opposed to backward stories about seven dwarfs living in a cave together. Well, *other dwarf actors. It would be ok if HE did it. I mean, he was OK making his millions playing a dwarf in Game of Thrones. It's ok for him, but not other actors of his size.

It is very cool how you have chosen actors who nearly look the same as the original actors or how you change them so that they look like them. I would like to watch this movie. It is sad there is no remake.
The cast is better chosen than in the original movie because some actors look a bit older as it really was in the book.

I don't understand you guys. This movie will be made by the “old crew” and Peter Jackson will be there too. Ian Mc Kellen, Golum) and those we know. At least that's what's been stated. Even trying to make a movie like this is the best thing that could have happened in the last 25 years. Warner Brothers – they will take it on and I hope they succeed.

Okay people need to stop suggesting Henry Cavill to be in roles. He is monotone and frankly boring. The only thing he's got going is good looks. And before anyone starts, being a gamer and building his own PC does not make you an excellent actor that can take on any role! Please just stop with him!
