  1. Stellar Blade also has a new update with these outfits already out. This was recorded before that.

This week the team is fully back with some really fun content👀

  2. issue with Shadows is its the first time the player character is supposedly a real character from history, and the main guy that everything goes back to for 'research' on Yasuke – basically made it up. The biggest issue though is why – why give us Japan, but not a proper Japanese samurai? (especially in the middle of real world issues with black on asian crime) – Needless to say AC isn't true to the franchise anymore – the last games too – not about stealth, its no longer the glory days of Ezio.
but im glad you dont take issue with things and are looking forward to the perspective they want to show you. i may get it on sale second hand in 2 years and play as much assassins style as i can with the girl

  3. Glad to see that Jorraptor isn’t one of them gamergate weirdos against Yasuke being a MC in the game.

  4. To be honest, the entire gaming community, is one giant headache now, it has always been a pretty toxic place, but now, in todays climate, its just a massive headache…Seems people search for reasons to get angry, Im not saying companies arent, havent always, done some pretty questionable things, wont be the last controversy about a game release, because thats what makes some gamers happy…

  5. You should not defend Ubisoft. Yosuke is not the only problem. The “history expert” behind all this insanity has been caught making up the whole thing. And there are so many crazy flaws in the game. Ubisoft doesn’t respect Japanese culture at all. Not to mention there are so many copyright issues.

  6. Ugh, there is 0.1% of "hate", then there a bunch of people mad they said "it's based on history and you can learn while playing". And the people who was their "historian" was a liar trying to sell a book, and it's doing great for him.

Definitely not a fan of what they did, and I definitely see some people are culture warriors, but it's annoying so many people paint anyone who's annoyed by the situation with the "racism" or "hate" brush.

  7. Been playing this game since day 1. been playin 15+ hours a day… I notice one thing.. no1 helps u with stuff they already have. I have about 10+ friends on my TFD list… n not one answered my help when I ask… why, because they already done wat I did. So for them to come back n help me is so beneath them… like I told nothing but skills, FUCK THIS GAME !!! I’ll come back when the community is more friendly than snobbish.

  8. The way you feel about Rise of the Ronin is exactly how I feel about Hogwarts Legacy.

  9. I gave up Warframe a looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong time ago but this new update looks good!

  10. As for Yasuke, unfortunately, Yasuke was not treated as a samurai in Japan.
If he had been a samurai, he would have been beheaded the moment he surrendered to Akechi Mitsuhide, just like Hideyoshi beheaded Mitsuhide.
Some Japanese historians say Yasuke was a samurai, but he is treated like a lowest-ranking civil servant at best, completely different from the image of a superhuman samurai or warlord overseas.
He was by Nobunaga's side and ran errands, so he probably had no opportunity to participate in battles other than the Honnoji Incident.
Just because you are given a sword does not make you a samurai.
In fact, Nobunaga treated sumo wrestlers the same way he treated Yasuke, giving them swords, salaries, and housing.
These wrestlers were not treated as samurai either.

Even now in 2024, a sumo ceremony called "Yumitori" is still held. Nobunaga praised the wrestlers for their good fight and gave them bows as a reward. There is a theory that it began when the wrestlers at that time offered a dance in gratitude for the reward. If it had been a sword, this ceremony might have been called "Kataritori."

Yasuke served as a guard and did odd jobs under Valignano, but after he was presented to Nobunaga, he is thought to have served as a guard and did odd jobs under Nobunaga as a person, not as a slave.

In the records of Yasuke in Japanese history, there are only a few lines that say he was a baggage carrier and did odd jobs. That's all.
This is the image of Yasuke recorded in Japanese history.

There are many ancient Japanese documents that even Japanese people need to decipher.
Lockley's book has been peer-reviewed in Japan and is treated as fiction.
Thomas Lockley has fooled so many blacks and whites.
His book was published overseas as non-fiction without sufficient peer review. It is a falsification of history. As a result, the focus of the Yasuke issue has already shifted away from the game and toward the issue of Thomas Lockley's falsification of history. For this reason, a member of the House of Councilors has begun an investigation.
There are many people overseas who do not understand this.
In Japan, people who think that Yasuke was a superhuman samurai or warlord are thought to have the intelligence of a kindergartener who cannot distinguish between history and fantasy.
It seems to be spreading more than expected overseas. However, no matter what a foreigner who can speak Japanese like him says, it won't change Japan's history.

I hope they wake up soon.

And even if they use Yasuke, they could have made it a more fantastical story by removing the unauthorized use of racist depictions and images against Japanese and black people. But Ubi is still missing the point and treating those who disagree as racists. The anger of the Japanese people is not going to subside anytime soon.

  11. "This game is an insult to the Japanese culture i should know im Japanese!"
    – some white dude that has nothing better to do

  12. The guy from Ubisoft did say in an interview that AC was going to be accurate enough to learn the history. Its too bad all that history was written by one guy and has since been totally discredited. I'm not buying Ubisoft games because Ubisoft makes bad games. They're the vanilla ice cream of video game development and charge $130. Quadruple A pricing with barely AA game design

  13. Thank your Jorraptor for not being delusional and overly offended back lack of historical accuracy in a game series that has an ANIMUS. AC games are NOT realistic !!!

  14. As soon as the new AC drops…. to 70% off I'll excitedly think about buying it. F&*% Ubisoft.

  15. Well can't expect originality or creativity from a team fully Based around DEI. Assassins creed is screwed.

  16. The people on the internet are addicted to outrage. Its always something and its usually something that doesn't matter in real life.

  17. Joraptor… I didn't know you were on board with DEI crap like a non- Japanese samurai. And to call it hate? This will be my last joraptor video, as is my right to choose what I want to watch.

  18. Rose of the ronin is a great game..a good blend between Nioh and Wo long but we are ready for Ninja Gaiden reboot!!!!

  19. I'm not gonna buy AC Shadows as protest for wanting a better AC game, since Valhalla it's going downhill, especially the gameplay and now disrespecting Japan history. Still gonna play Outlaws tho, i'm stoked, despite all the negative trailer reviews etc… i know double standards. 😸 From Ubisoft i'm really looking forward to a new Watch Dogs!
