SUFFERIN’ SUCKFEST – Looney Tunes: Twouble! – Game Boy Color Reviews #017

If the original Game Boy had a lot of Looney Tunes games, the GBC went completely overboard. In the space of four years there were FOURTEEN different ones. Let’s hope they get better than this thoroughly disappointing isometric mess.

  1. At least in these early months of the Game Boy Color, we can wonder whether these games started out being developed for the original Game Boy and had Color features shoved in late in the process. There's such better use of color in the sidescrolling chase mode, I can imagine that mode being added on toward the end to satisfy a demand like, "Make it look more actiony! Don't let the kids think they'll be playing Solstice the whole time!"

  2. Die mous may have been a middle of the road game but the soundtrack was fantastic.
