Marvel Games needs to start producing their own games. It's long overdue. They sat back reaping profits of just licensing while letting other people do the hard work. I'm glad studios are pushing back and winding down their commitments. I wonder what % cut they received of the Spiderman 2 sales in addition to the upfront licensing fees.

I get the skepticism for marathon but honestly I'm still excited for it if it takes any hints from how helldiver's 2 has been handling its live service aspects it could be cool also it's crazy but Sony has had crazy success recently

I'm actually relieved that the Mandalorian game was canceled. It would have flopped as an FPS game just like Avatar did. Arrowhead Games just showed how a Mandalorian game should look, play and feel like with Helldivers 2! That has the PERFECT blueprint for a Starwars Mandalorian game with a Mandalorian fighting against the Empire on different planets and mission types! Substitute the Automatons with Stormtroopers, add some bounty missions where you have to capture a bounty, add some John Williams and Ludwig Goransson inspired music and you have the Mandalorian game we deserve! 3rd person so you see your character, customizable armors , ships and weapons. Planet explorations and craft an actual story instead of just drop in missions! Disney needs to give Arrowhead this IP and let them run with it!
