I literally just bought a Switch last week, mostly for portable play of the old Final Fantsy games while still having the ability to play on a TV. Might grab some other games, but for the most part I’m not actually interested in any of the exclusives. At least not atm.

Doeasnt nintendo make subtle little changes to the consoles over the years to help improve it? I seen some tear down of the ps4 and ps5 where they showed that sony would make some hardware changes to the their console over the years. Has the switch gone through something similar over the years?

I bought a Steam Deck OLED a couple months ago as my first and main personal console. Don’t regret it at all. It is a much better device. Is it perfect? No. I worry it won’t play next gen games well in a couple years when they come to pc. Practically all games I want to play I can play though…that is including my old GameCube games through emulation.

Nintendo switch made for pokemon, zelda and super mario. Hopefully nintendo switch 2 will be more friendly handheld gaming device for any types of games.

My partner has been gaming on my Switch so much more. Like randomly see her grabbing it and playing randomly throughout the day. You know she's into it when I taking the switch to the bathroom, during work breaks, during chores, playing instead of watching her series. I'm like damn I think I should get one for me, I haven't been able to finish any of the games I've been playing.

I like your content but I Think your a tad to harsh on new games on the switch. I mean obviously they are pushing further and they should, switch gamers want games. Hogwarts , Arkham perform "well" considering and honestly they work "fine" given the facts.

i have the old switch and it terrible on handled mood so i just use it on the tv cuz it give me better color then it does on handheld mode

Bought my switch during my COVID and have amassed so many games I never thought I would buy on it just so I can play them on my lunch break at work. Love it.

yeah it's worth it. Every game you buy you'll actually own. Not borrow like digital games.
