[REDACTED] – Announce Trailer

Black Iron, a state-of-the-art penitentiary located on Jupiter’s icy moon Callisto, is overrun with hordes of infected inmates. As a modest prison guard your job is simple – get to the last escape pod and get out alive.

But you aren’t the only survivor looking to escape. Your rivals – a deranged custodian, a violent gangster, a maniacal lunch lady, and more – can’t wait to step over your corpse and save themselves.

Only one of you can make it off the moon – make sure it’s you!

In [REDACTED], a fast-action isometric roguelike, a shadowy agent watches Black Iron Prison spiral into chaos. As one of the last guards, fight through monsters, rivals, and reanimated corpses of your fellow guards to escape the penitentiary alive.

  1. It's no wonder why Glen Schofield had left his own studio… Sooner or later, expect more employees being laid off for not making enough money.

  2. As someone who really enjoyed the Callisto protocol, I’m glad to see the IP not abandoned. Imagine future Callisto games in different genres like a telltale style game with cinematic choices like the walking dead, or a first person deep rock galactic style extraction game. The possibilities are endless, please continue!

  3. If the dev team is reading comments :

Callisto Protocols was a really good game. It just failed in some really key areas like fluidity of combat and why the heck did you have Denuvo on release ? Don't be scared of your game being pirated. Piracy does not result in loss of sales, people who cannot buy the game in third world countries pirate. Denuvo completely tanked your games performance. And I get it this game is hard to run, but denuvo killed it with the stutters, and also you guys released it without good optimization for even medium end hardware.

So here are some tips for your next game :

    1. Please do not make animation locked combat. Let the players have freedom on what action they want to take. And controls should be fluid. Left stick to dodge was a really bad design choice. Shouldve just had a button to dodge mechanic. Jacob also swings the baton too slowly. And the zombies have only one attack, they should have a high swing and Jacob can duck under that, a lunging attack which can only be dodged, and a normal quick attack that can be blocked but only a few times after that Jacobs gaurd breaks and the player is forced to either shoot or attack back. It felt like i was fighting the clunky slow controls during combat. Also make the animation faster and more snappy.
    2. Optimise the game before release so reviewers dont trash it and players dont get turned off in initial reviews. nobody wants to play a stutter fest. But after denuvo removed the game ran so smooth only minor stutters.
    3. If you want to solve piracy instead of adding intrusive and performance tanking software like denuvo you should think about regional pricing. My country's average monthly wage is 400$ there's no way anyone is buying this for 60$. 20$ is an acceptable price. Steam bans accounts who do the VPN method anyways. And even if people pirate its just free advertising for your studio and your game. If the game is good people will buy when it goes on sale.
    4. Add a FOV slider. jacob took like 40% of the screen space and the sensitivity was so low when i had to check my back or check something offscreen quickly it took a whole second to turn.

Hope you guys read this and implement this in the next game whatever it might be. I get it game development is hard but you need to listen to your player audience and give them what they want. I was a huge dead space fan and was so happy when this game got announced. I only wish to see more of this genre in gaming. Good luck.

  4. i hope this isn't the only direction they go in with the callisto protocol universe. the game looks good i wouldn't lie but well as long as we get something like the original just improved I'll be a happy player.

  5. If it comes with local co-op multiplayer it would be fantastic! And a pleasant surprise until the arrival of The Callisto Protocol 2

  6. Hoping the final product will have blood and gore. One of my favorite aspects of The Callisto Protocol's gameplay was the visceral nature of the combat. I think it can still work even with this new art direction and top-down view.

  7. I hope i would wakeup one day to hear that glenn has reclaimed the dead space IP & is giving us true remasters of the trilogy.
