I'm skeptical how well this is going to do considering the poor management and junior level dev quality of PTCGL. Sorry but Pokemon is going to have to do a lot more to earn back my trust in using any of their client apps.

@pokemoncompany: why are we in Belgium not eligible to download the game? Everyone else in the world can preregister, but Belgium and the Netherlands seem to be left out..

It would be so cool if we could scan our own decks from irl so thst we wouldnt need to buy in game or something

I have LONG TIME abandoned Pokemon TCG since buying updated versions of cards that you already have and ban all old cards from the rotation was ludicrous and a huge money waster that made me stop playing the TCG altogether since the 2000s. Since this game will have in-game microtransactions, I might return to the Pokemon TCG scene after a long time I've left the community since 2007.

This definitely looks like the kind of game I'll play actively for a month or so and then just keep installed on my phone on the off chance some cool event happens to pull me back in, at least until I need more space.

Instead of making a second app for a different version of the card game – why don't you properly support and improve Pokemon Trading Card Game Live?

No seriously why? It's been months and months and PTCGL is still full of issues, from game breaking bugs to simply not running at all some machines! I've contacted support twice and they wont even talk to me.

Someone tell me why a PC with Windows 10, AMD Ryzen 3700X 8 core, 32GB VRAM NVidia 3060, and 32GB of DDR4 RAM is apparently NOT GOOD ENOUGH to run PTCGL????? The game wont even get to the log in screen!

Never seen anything like it. Never had the issue with PTCGO, I can run games like GTA, COD, Halo, Civ 6, Cities Ckylines modded and Cities Skylines 2 modded, these are VASTLY more demanding games that my computer runs very well.

So why can't I run PTCGL? Why are you releasing some spin off app when the main app doesn't even work right?!
