I went to a place where they had like abunch of old stuff like arcarde game machines with proper old stuff and old consoles and it had one of them controllers and i played on it and from watching this i was doing it completely wrong 😅and knew nothing bout the controller
You would be better off modding an original n64 controller with a gamecube style stick and using a usb adapter it has the worst button layout when you use that Bluetooth one on your phone because they wanted to force you to use it with switch
Being revolutionary and being different are not the same thing. It was different. It was not revolutionary. It did pioneer the form factor of an analog stick on a regular game pad, and that's all. In every other way, it was ass.
I honestly don't know what everyone is shitting on the N64 controller. It got the job done and it wasn't that difficult to use. People still broke records with those controller's

I used to love the idea of having a trigger for shooting games, but I always thought the N64 was made for people with three hands
