I tried to get into pocket camp but I just can't. It sucks, imo.

Does anyone still play regular animal crossing? I play my pocket animal crossing more, but I want to get back to playing, but it's boring since I have no one else's island.. I need friends if you still play.

I stopped playing pocket camp years ago because of all the micro transactions making it essentially impossible to collect all the items without paying real world money so I’m SO excited for this new version to come out!

This is good news for me. I stopped playing because of micro transactions when ACNH came out. This will ease the (hopefully short) wait for a new AC title on Switch 2.

I would play this if it was on the switch, but I’m not a mobile gamer. So this is a pass for me.

A new and more in depth AC for the switch would be nice

I joined late just over a year ago, so I definitely appreciate that they will have at least some of the game available to play for longer, since there are a ton of items I missed out on from the beginning. But I’m glad I watched this video so I know to spend up all my leaf tickets and use my leaf ticket maps so all those leaf tickets don’t go to waste! Thanks for the heads up!

they really need to make a feature that somehow involves being able to add pocket camp friends as friends on the switch, or something to that effect. the gift-giving generosity ive experienced from total strangers ive added in pocket camp is going to be missed. i wouldnt have a lot of event items (like garden events which involves sharing creatures for goals) and cookie items (with some gifts containing cookies) if it werent for those pals ive met and played with. im actually gonna miss these friends a lot and would love to keep in contact! bobs gang ganggg

i hope it releases on the switch :/ please just port it onto the switch i seriously do not want to play pocket camp offline on mobile i am sick n tired of mobile.

My mom might be happy to have me inform her the offline paid version of Pocket Camp will get new items after launch. She LOVES Animal Crossing, so the news of the offline version she may or may not buy, will have new items added in updates going forward after it's release, will make her happy. I hope she buys it for herself when it releases. She loved Pocket Camp. I made sure to tell her how to backup her Pocket Camp save data for transfer to the offline version, through linking a Nintendo account to it. She says she has that done already, and I hope she knows the login info for that account, as I'm sure the offline version of Pocket Camp will make you log into your Nintendo account manually to transfer save data. She already knows her Leaf Tickets won't carry over to the offline version, I let her know that already

That’s good that there will be new items added even if it is only one time. I have PC on my phone and iPad Mini, but the microtransactions turned me off from constantly playing. This will also give me an excuse to use my newer iPad Mini much more often.

Tbh, I hope that maybe a version of pocket camp will be on switch. My phone’s battery drains quickly enough as is. ;-;

I'm hoping crossbred seasonal flowers/selling seasonal flower seeds from past gardening events will be added to the offline version, since I have a stockpile of various seeds. Also, it's a shame we can't open the gifts we get from Gulliver's ship ourselves, since not everyone is going to have/add people just to use up their gifts…

I wanted to like pocket camp and originally was a day one player; but very early on in playing got frustrated with the pay walls and FOMO and ended up quitting for my own health. I liked the game, just not the grind!

I downloaded the app recently and feel similar; everything looks GREAT…. until you realize how much grinding you would need to do to get anything in the game as a F2Player.

So yeah. I'm HYPED! So long as the game is less than $30 I will be buying it. Even at 29.99, it would he cheaper as a one-time purchase than trying to pay-to-play as it currently is. And I wont have to worry about all my data disappearing either!

I do feel bad for the people who did shuck out the bucks tho. I hope they do a special deal for the whales where they get the game free/for a cheaper price.

Bob’s Gang! No interest as I did not play pocket camp, I don’t want the games in my phone. I want a hard copy release of a new AC since there are no updates to New Horizon to come. I just want whatever newer platform form of the switch allows play with the old cartridges and brings a us a fun AC game. I also do not want to lose out on our Switch Lite, I would choose that over the phone any day.

I am really excited for this, I'd like to get back into the game. I'm curious how you'll get fortune cookies though, or are they just gone 😭?
