  1. First off Welcome Back and so so happy to see you live again. For sure missed ya. Second awesome fun great stream as always. Great game play and really game from what I saw. Cheers & Salute – Oh Hell Yeah ๐Ÿฅƒ

  2. "Overwhelmingly Positive Reviews" Lol. This means next to nothing when the overwhelming majority of those reviews are from Chinese users who had less than an hour of playtime at time of review, and the reviews had next to nothing to do with the game and were full of nationalist propaganda slogans (Chinese netizens are infamously nationalistic). Even a tiny fraction of English reviews have more than a few hours of playtime. Of nearly 270,000 reviews, only 16,000 are English. Of those 16,000 English reviews, only 2,600 have 10 hours of playtime (this scales on total, not just when the review was made). In fact, you can see a ton of copy-pasted reviews from Chinese users that read like corpo ads (they specifically mention NetEase and Tencent), showing that there is an organized review campaign behind the game as well. The 100,000+ non-Steam and unverified purchase reviews full of bot garbage should be more than telling (and in plenty of "verified" ones too).

I'm not saying its a good or bad game. But it got positive review bombed instantly and it was always going to, no matter if it was great or garbage. It uses one of the most popular Chinese myths of all time and had a massive marketing campaign in China. It was perfect bait, regardless of quality.
