NEVER install these programs on your PC… EVER!!!

Amount of bloatware and spyware by even older established companies is worrying. I would like to point out also CC Cleaner which maybe once was nice PC cleaner now installs you PC Companion bloatware/spyware that you cannot uninstall regular way. I had to delete all program files manually and clean registry manually. So Piriform CC Cleaner = avoid. There are number of similar apps that on the surface look legit but are basically just spyware. Free app you mentioned could be Avast or AVG that starts with A. Basically every of these apps might at one point insert you some bloatware/spyware. I find those at my kids and friends PC's regularly and they even wasn't avare of installing it due to it installs with updates of those apps or something like that.

I have used Honey for years and had zero problems and it has saved me money, and isn't annoying unlike how it was mentioned in this video. I am not an expert but i am going to have to disagree with this position from an anecdotal perspective. BTW the antivirus that starts with an "A" that you were thinking of is AVG, i believe.

Weird i run the newest Paid Norton , i have zero issues with pc speed ..i did the benchmark, a few mins ago to see the difference there was almost no difference in benchmark scores. I also use Nortons VPN, and my ISP has never theottled me or kicked me offline. I do know the Norton from a very long time ago would use like 98% of your systems resounrces. I juat dont have that problem in 2024 on windows 11. Im not saying norton is great or anything… Im juat saying , i literally dont have any of the issues mentined in thus videos. And norton aas able to "clean/fix" issues i had on my pc that windows defender couldn't even detect

I still enjoy when veteran tech pros are talking about any topic and laying down legitimate industry-wide grievances that somehow, Adobe Subscription Model is still able to get into the conversation. Just like is mentioned here, after basic Windows OS issues, Adobe greed based pricing and how it forever changed the higher-end software landscape for the worse and is the primary motivator to move otherwise law abiding people to pirate software… "it has to be Adobe". And to think I came here to find out about software not to install… Adobe.

Incognito mode doesn’t protect you on public wifi. It’s a local protection; cookies and other data aren’t retained once that incognito browser session is closed.

Man I kept trying to warn people about VPN's for years upon years, Perhaps with this video maybe they will start to listen even if it is slightly. People actually thought that a VPN makes it so a "Hacker" would never be able to grab your data or even be able to read that data, Or that ISP's won't know what you are doing even though you have to connect to there service in order to use the internet. Like people are actually that fracking dumb man. There have been cases of people that have used VPN's and thought they were secured and would never get caught there ISP's sent data to the government and they went to jail, VPN's are the biggest scams on the planet that fed on the fears of people.

I tried Norton & My PC was Ruined…. Then Norton Tried To Charge Me for 3 Other Subscriptions, Norton Is A Ripp Off….. I Tried Windows 11 & I was Ripped Off with hidden Fees…. like paying to enable Media Player or it won't play sertan formats. It's best to not trust any Software or your own Computer.

My grandma did the boosters and cleaner thing on her phone. It made the phone unusable and overheated it constantly. They're basically viruses with how badly they affected her phone. It was a stuggle getting all of them uninstalled.

Firstly, it's FREE with 80-90% of the features available to use in the free version, and if you want those extra crispy tools, it's a one-time purchase of S300 and the software is yours to keep. Also, you get all future updates. It requires a pretty decent CPU for smooth editing, but my god, I love it more than Premier Pro. If you're familiar with Premier Pro, the learning curve with Resolve isn't that bad at all

where I live I only have starlink or cellular internet available. Microsoft loves re installing one drive each update. More are moving to cloud but for those like me it isnt good using all that data backing to the cloud.

The antivirus that starts with an A he forgot the name of, must be AVG (now owned by Avast)… And he's right, it was perfect (and with a free version) some ten years ago… Now, this east-european antivirus have become just as horrible as the american Norton and McAfee… And you have to change your bank account to get rid of them, 'cuz they don't accept if you want to close you AVG account like I tried…
