Focus mode is the MH equivalent of Halo adding the ability to aim down sights, but I think it works better here than there.

Focus mode is a cool technique let's you strafe and facing directly while your weapons drawn and slow movement.
Keep attacking on one monster's parts (Head, body, tail or limbs) can afflict wounds on that part, activate focus mode to see highlight wounded parts.
Focus strikes let you do amazing stunts against one large monster.
Each weapons can perform different focus strike. Does more damage on wounded or soft parts on the large monster.
USE FOCUS MODE TO TARGET A MONSTER'S WOUNDS AND WEAK POINTS
As always the most looked forward to weapon is the lance. 😁

Would love to see a new weapon type or variaton… like a 1h sword, something between the 2h and the sword and shield, speed wise in the middle and dmg wise…
or some tankier weapons, a huge shield wich you use to attack or shove it in the ground to tank some heavy hits… dual pistols / dual crossbows… or just plain heavy gauntlets,… a gunblade like squal from ff would be cool as well…
Honestly, a new range weapon would be maybe the better choice, since rn there are only 3 in comparison to 11 melee weapons…

Thats more of a broadsword than a greatsword. Broad=/= heavy. Greatsword is heavy
