I love the game, love the NPC relationship quests, BUT laying off the Dev with the current lack of story line content concern me for it's long term future.

I just downloaded it for Steam Deck, but i gotta say so far DDLV is better IMO

the beginning of the end for this game was the damn cosmetics are outrageously priced! $34 for a skin pack nope! fun game but mannnnn…

I think they would get a lot more profit if they lowered the cosmetic prices. Let's say 5 euros for an outfit. It's a lot more swallowable and works psychologically, thinking "it's only five bucks".

Instead of 2 people buying a cosmetic for 20 bucks which is a profit of 40. Higher chance is 10 people will buy for 5 which is a profit of 50… (plus more likely people will buy multiple at once)

Lots of games are missing these psychological marketing tricks, that could literally safe the game.

Besides, this way they make cosmetics somewhat accessible for everyone, the more people look fancy and unique, the more people want that too (another psychological trick. Its in peoples nature to not wanna feel left out).
Plus, it's a lot more fun dressing up.

I loved the recommendation in this video of how to help save Palia. I figured maybe because you are a bigger platform that we could help spread the word about this idea….I would love to see the game stick around. She talks about giving the company feedback on what we would spend money on to help keep them funded and give them a way to help create more content. I hope you see this :

If they did more pets and let pets find rare items on daily bases off pets rarity, that would make a great sought after in game purchase. Even special furniture or wallpapers

If they get rid of Palia… I am going to be so livid. I am tired of getting attached to games that they just get rid of.

I love Palia and I really WANT it to continue but their cosmetic items are WAY over-priced and not being able to buy individual pieces or individual colors of outfits is annoying. Sometimes I only like a single color of an outfit type and I'd be more likely to purchase them if I could purchase 1 color from each of the 3 designs for a single outfit instead of having to purchase all 3 colors of an outfit design when I only like 1 of the colors.

Cosmetics that are $8-$30 for a set of outfits … that you can't even customize… really hurts… They just killed their game by firing 35% of their work force… It's going to go on Life-Support now … and probably die off… They didn't listen to us when we told them what the game needed… not more $$$$ items… but more actual content…. 😞RIP Palia.

Palia is neat and all but absolutely not to paying the price of a full game for just… Cosmetics?? I could buy many, finished, fantastic indie games for that price.

In my opinion outfits should never be more than 5$ and thats for detailed full outfits

I really hope Palia makes it. I love that game and have been playing it on PC since August. I did take a break for a few months after I walked into the Temple of the Gales though. What a nightmare that place was. The entire area was so frustrating and nerve racking (NOT COZY at all IMO), and part of the main story line.. so had to do it or quit. I thought my Palia days were over. But I came back in March and with my son's help, finished that TERRIBLE temple. My son (long time parkour gamer) said it wasn't just me.. it was HORRIBLE game design and he didn't understand why they even had that type of gameplay in a game like Palia. The reason I came back was I missed the regular daily game play and I've spent a ton of money on clothing in that game. Other than that horrible temple, they keep messing with my configuration that I use to actually play the game. We can barely use the mouse on PC for anything now.. they have blocked all movement keybinds from the mouse. I have no idea why… they were in use for over 6 months.. now they are gone for two months. Things like that are highly irritating… but I'm hanging in there hoping for the best.
