  1. Frame gen is fake frames, a smoothing tech that only works properly if you already have a decent frame rate. The tech cheeses fps counters as a byproduct. Its not a fps booster or GPU life extender.

  2. When I enabled FSR on my very laggy laptop, I could play 1440p on a 1080p gpu but the fps stayed the same. I think it's worth it.

  3. Using frame generation for Fortnite is absolutely pointless just play on performance mode

  4. Finally someone talking about dlss and fsr and when its supposed to be used. Im so sick of seeing videos of ppl being like "4080s or 7900xtx?" Just for part of the answer to be "well dlss/fsr bro" as if something so high end fking needs dlss or fsr

  5. the more frames you start with the more it can generate. if you try with low fps it'll look like shit, try to get at least 60fps before turning frame generation on

  6. Soooo we forgetting the fact that most games that actually do support dlss only support it for the new 40 series cards?

  7. if u have
    Dlss off 40 fps
    Dlss on 100 fps,
it still moves and feels like 50-60 fps and with much worse latency

  8. literally every game Ive tried in on it gains like 5fps and looks like im playing on a fucking potato

  9. I have a rtx 2070 mobile 8bg ddr6 vram and get 60fps in 4k native on red dead online with dlss.. Genius..

  10. I have a question, is DLSS turned on automatically? I’ll be building my pc very soon and I have an RTX 3060 so I probably could benefit from a bit of a frame boost

  11. No thanks, I'm not running a 1080Ti, to rely on a crutch, I will rather overclock.

  12. I dont have that problem of not being able to afford the newest tech

  13. There is a program on steam "lossless scaling" that gives frame gen for those who doesn't have a gpu for it

  14. Problem is that there are only a couple of games supporting them
