  1. Guess help me out. I quit gaming for like 20 years now I just want to play skyrim. What do i do.

  2. Thank you, Linus Tech Tips, for this incredibly informative video!

I never thought of watching any videos by Linus Tech Tips—I’m not sure why, but I just kind of avoided it. Recently, though, I found myself on a bit of an adventure with an old Optiplex 3020 that I bought to install Batocera Linux. The case wasn’t exactly the best-looking, so I bought a new one. Then came the discovery that I needed headers for the board, which turned into quite a learning experience.

To keep it brief, I ended up buying a second Optiplex to replace my Mac, and that’s when I really started diving into the world of PCs. Despite having taken apart Macs before (including a full teardown of my iMac mid-2011 to do a deep clean and even baking the GPU to revive it), the world of PC building was something I had never fully explored.

What I discovered blew me away—the beautiful designs, the craftsmanship, the sheer quality of components, from cases to motherboards, RAM with LEDs (even though I’m not really into all the lights), fans, heat sinks—it’s all an incredible world to dive into. There’s so much knowledge to absorb.

So here I am, watching videos on cases and builds, trying to figure out which motherboard I’ll need. And then I stumbled upon this video. Even though I’m only halfway through, I felt compelled to comment. The amount of valuable information packed into this single video is incredible. You guys have done an amazing job, and I’m looking forward to finishing the rest of it.

  3. Thanks for the video, it contained everything I needed for my build. My last build was 10 years ago, so I just wanted a little refresher to make sure I wasn't doing anything wrong. I even learned some new things! 😃

  4. i have addressable rgb fans and i dont have the header on my pc any products anyone can suggest possible usb to fan controller or something i can use to control them

  5. I just build my first ever pc with this thanks ! i'm a little scared cause my pc case have an led button for preinstalled fan but i think i plug them wrong since when i press the led button all everything that is connected on the pc turn off so yeaah i better not touch this button

  6. Good job of making this video besides that kids with an attention span shorted than a goldfish can't watch this and it's better to not have them because they will complain about everything

  7. All these computer build videos i see on youtube don't seem like they made for simplicity, for people who have no experience building a PC and is trying to learn. I would be so nice to see a build where the person takes one part at a time, without all the cutting, without all the jumping around, without explaining how to build 5 different computers at once. I'd rather see things more simple then a professional looking video. Also, it would be nice to see some videos where they explain things like this is what this is and this is what it does, and will run ya about this much.

  8. Has Rtx 3070 lite hash rate gpu
    Has i9 12900k
Has 128 Gb ram patriot viper sticks
Has 4 Tb of Samsung 980 pro ssd
    Water cooled cpu
    aorus gigabyte z690 motherboard
    Has windows 11.
    Is this pc good?

  9. Call me old-fashioned, but I prefer a trackball mouse. The precision and speed blow any laser mouse out of the water. Not to mention, it's convenient not having to move your wrist to move your cursor.

  10. They ran off and left me with all these computer terms I have no clue about lol. That's the only obstacle for me. Once I do my due diligence and learn all the terminology of pc jargon, this guide is going to click 100x better.

  11. I thought Anthony was a chick now? Still looks and sounds like Anthony to me.

  12. If only I could build a PC that would keep tract of the times someone said "last"…of anything.

  13. Who cares about gaming, I don't. As a music composer I need an Intel chip, at least an i7, 128 gigs of RAM at a minimum (current rig) and Samsung SSD's-The only brand I will use, in part due to the included superb software, Samsung Magician.

  14. The worst tech tip linus ever gave out was recommending the gskill trident z rgb ram kits 😭 so many issues with that ram.

  15. This was very helpful but i prefer the guides where its just one person building a pc and explaining each step, this was kind of chaotic for me XD

  16. I'm happy that You take in account music Production, corrs could be fundamental for some synth vsti's, so thank You!!!

  17. My question is what is written on a cpu? I mean when first boot up before o.s. install where is this info stored ?

  18. This is a fantastic guide! Following this and the manuals included with my hardware I built my first PC! A bucket list item since I was a kid. Thanks for your help!!

  19. next year last ,"last guide"
then further next year last, last "last guide"
and then last, last, last "last guide" and so on……😂😂😂😂😂

  20. You guys told me to install the latest update for my gpu once I built the pc… I did and it bricked my pc…thank you😂😂

  21. building a pc in a few days so its useful to have this video keeping my mind fresh. Cheers.

  22. 2:51 "and a buttload of storage" nah i'll be fine with 500gb thats enough (no i definitely won't, video seriously needs a lot of storage im just delusional)

  23. The person doing the example PC build has finger clubbing. This is an indication of a serious underlying health condition. They should talk to their doctor about this ASAP.
