Kirby and the Forgotten Land is so much fun. Love playing that with my kids.
I know this is unrelated, but over the years you have talked about No Man's Sky so often I was always curious. It was your latest update on the game that finally convinced me to play it. Since then I've completed the current expedition on PS5, Steam and now am utterly impressed by how well it runs on Switch. Yes, the FOMO got to me because the current Expedition gives you a REALLY sweet Multi Tool and Sentinel ship(if you know where to look, wink wink).
It's Subnauticaa. In space.
The new Doom content hit me right in the feels. Made my singular gray hair tingle.
XEL has all been patched up. It's got the lowest review score i believe. Maybe you'll have a look.
Kirby and the Forgotten Land is one of my top five Switch games — one of the very few games I completed 100%. So damn good!
I've read that the developers of Arco are struggling with the sales of the game. I haven't heard much about it, but it seems that comes with interesting stuff even though your audio got cut off.
Love the new Doom realease. There are a lot of extra options added. The FOV can be adjusted, and the remixed OST by Andrew Hulshult has been added to the game and it is just amazing. That alone makes it worth a purchase imo. Check it out on his channel on youtube if you wanna have a listen.
As with the previous classic Doom releases there is even gyro aim.
One thing I find interesting about that is that it also uses the internal gyro in the console part of the system, so if youre playing in handheld with attached 3rd party joycons that doesnt have gyro, you can still use gyro aim. I didnt even know there was an internal gyro sensor before these Doom ports.
Strange that I’ve grabbed a physical Kirby at a decent price a couple of months ago, playing with my son, then saw Glen’s review here 😂

I think it’s cool Nightdive got to do remaster Doom and Doom II, but I wish they would’ve put that time and effort into remastering Wolfenstein 3D, Heretic, Hexen, or Quake III Arena instead.
I love these long episodes where you just chat.
Doom being 30 years old makes me feel old, that game was mind blowing when I was a kid. The engine was 2.5D because that was cutting edge in the early 90s.
Loved Kirby and the Forgotten Land. Such a good step up from 2d Kirby
Not a switch game, BUT if it does come to switch it’s a 3D platformer called little yellow taxi go vroom. It’s a colectathon with platforming as a yellow taxi

picked up arco days ago and its so good
I feel as if the doom movement was a a bit off on the enhanced versions he feels as if he has more momentum i can’t explain it. it just feels off.
I remember doom at college on the LAN network was amazed. Then came quake and I was blown away. I love that these old games still impress me

I think where Kirby succeeds over Mario Odyssey is that the levels don’t outstay their welcome and the tasks don’t come laborious like some of the levels in Odyssey. It’s just more fun, simple as that. About 3/4 of the way through Mario Odyssey I just wanted to finish it and get it done and I had no desire at all to go back, whereas with Kirby I’ve completed it loads of times.
