The only question we have to ask is “is it better than the 2019 Hellboy?” Low bar but still
It doesn’t look bad. The company behind this are new and a horror aspect is actually quite nice because like the comics they do have these horror elements.
The title says it all!
Welp atleast it's a little bit better than neil marshal's hellboy though…
BAD BAD BAD…AND EVEN WORSE!!! 0 OUT OF 10!
This was THE WORST Hellboy in the entire series!!! Worst writing, worst plot and the original actor who played the first Hellboy was missing. When you cannot get the original cast, DO NOT MAKE SEQUALS! I was confused the whole time, had no clue what was happening or why. It was an absolute mess and I was so bored I just said no more, shut it off. Thank god I was watching it for free. And that was even too much!
It's an amateur film. Basically a fan-made movie.
I didn't finish watching it.
Stop it. This was cringe
I’ll still go and see it
Watched it I thought it was better than the last hell boy with the guy from stranger things. Hell boy and crooked man is not perfect but it is a worthy watch and I recommend it for any hell boy fans out there.
There's only one Hellboy and there's only ever gonna be one Hellboy, His real name is Ron Perlmon.
Honestly, it sounds like a low budget, good spooky time, and thats what Hellboy needs, the last two movies were apocalypse level events
Boring 😅
Reviews seem split between comic fans who like it and movie fans who don't like the low budget feel
I've seen it in CamRip. Im busy at work. Not interested in spending money to see movies anymore. Its not as good the Ron Pearlman movies. But it is damn sure better than David Harbor MCU comedy hellboy movie. I like the southern detective tone to this movie and oh … spoiler alert
Geoffrey from Fresh Prince of Bel Air is in this movie. I was flooded when he appeared as the blind old paster😂😂😂
'tis online my mateys!
This is a low budget film right? So I’m not worried about the cgi. As long as any movie has a good plot, even if it’s a low budget film. It will be good in the end.
What specifically makes this one a bad movie? if its the special effects in the movies then i don't notice. I didn't notice in the del Toro movies and I'm probably not gonna notice now.
A Dark Horse extended universe with all the superheroes would be just as good
Just watched it and I liked it. The snake scene was pretty unnecessary
Better than new Crow is a pretty low bar
This should not be in cinema, probably a good watch in a streaming service… People expectations are higher when you watch in cinemas
Rotten Tomatoes?
So they are comparing a shoestring budget almost fan movie with no famous actors to a Hollywood blockbuster productions, and say the film does not have good CGI ?
The Guillermo del Toro ones were fantastic.
Bra i watched it yesterday what do you mean 2 weeks.
And its the worst hellboy ever
2 short
No fights
No horror
No monsters
Cgi is not bad
The trailer director needs to be fired
It could have been better as a non hellboy movie.
There is no blockbuster
It sucks
Hellboy is a side character
Hellboy cosplayers are better hellboys
This movie was like a pilot for a series if you want a budget.
He isnt an immortal hell spawn anymore.
The first 5 minutes peak hellboy
Then its a trainwreck after that.
Atleast uncle howdy made it in the movie
Worse*, learn to spell if you’re going to put words in the thumbnail.
Yea it looks indie and different but I’m a big enough hellboy fan to give it a shot. 🤷🏼♂️
It wasnt that good to me. I enjoyed some of the Appalachian actors and actress.. they did pretty good.. made me grin and laugh a bit.. the preacher wasnt bad either.. the young man who was looking for his dad did a good job to.. almost took the movie from hell boy. He seemed like the main character to me.. Hellboy just didn't feel interesting to me.. sorry if i ruffle a few feathers but.. thats how it felt watching. Ok bye!!❤
I already watched it in the cinema yesterday, I'm from the Philippines, yes I like it. Its not perfect by all means, the opening scenes were a bit messy and it could have used better budget HOWEVER the movie itself, the story that unfolds and the horror, the tension it has? It is worth it. Hellboy feels a lot like a real person on this one, he ocassionally cracks jokes but mostly he is a serious tough guy who takes his job seriously and is not this spoiled and immature guy who many of us came to love from the previous films especially the first two films, this hellboy feels different, more gritty and the whole film in general has an indie vibe to it which really works for it. The acting was good, the action was minimal but it was cool, it felt more grounded each shot from the revolver was truly felt, it had weight to it thats how it sounded and felt like. And since Mike Mignola, hellboy's creator, had co written this, I can truly see that the way he envisioned hellboy is different from the previous films and I like it, I dont care what the critics say on this one, critics are reliable most of the time but I doubt that many of them will appreciate the authenticity that this film has and to understand you got to watch it in full and yes its definitely worth it.
Of course this garbage looking fan film has bad reviews 😂😂😂
Sounds like what I wanted to hear, still looks like absolute wet dog sh1t though.
How are we supposed to watch it in America. It doesn’t have a US release date
This is interesting considering that we were hearing bad things about the movie before but now it seems like it is ok at best and honestly ok is fine with me.
To me Hellboy movies have always been mid-card and that's a good thing. Something fun adventurous and scary at time. As long as it's fun it's good!
An it seem this Hellboy movie is going more comic and horror which the comics are. So I'm in!😊👍
Hellish cgi.
Uhhhh?
This screams SyFy Original.
Almost anything's better than the last one…🤕😠 I wouldn't have even started it had I know the kiss of death to almost anything Mila What'shervich was in it.🖕
I’m on the fence with this one. This may be one of those films they wait to see and streaming or something. Not sure yet. Gotta wait till more. Youtubers like yourself start talking about this movie and whether it’s worth going to theaters to see or not.
I'm really excited for this Hellboy film
I think it looks like a direct-to-video movie.
Hellboy: The Crooked Man looks bad. I predict it won't make more than the last Hellboy. How many times do we need this property to get reboots that flop until Hollywood stops making them?
I forgot this was coming out
