Perfectly overpriced, as all GW stuff should be.
And the most funny thing is that you can build your own controller much cheaper than that.
When i first saw this, I thought it was a gag. Then while watching, I realized that no, GW really is that arrogant.
When i saw this, i was surprised you were taking you time to review it.
But it makes sense, damn that is expensive and the quality wtf.

$250 AUD fucking lol. Even their partnership merch is ridiculously overpriced – by nearly 3x!!!! For a fucking decal.

I can badly apply my own decals for a lot less money.
In the Grim Darkness of the 41st millennium there is only merch. $220 CAD for a badly applied decal, yikes.
They apparently do have a 3 month warranty for "discolouring, chroming and scratching", who knows how well they'll do with that if your controller is indicative of the rest of the bunch. I still can't believe they're charging double the price of a normal PS5 controller for some ugly image pasted on the controller.
GW continues to find new ways to be lazier while inflating prices.
And this is why I avoid these product tie-in controllers….
As an aside over the weekend I was looking for something to watch and saw someone had put the whole Space Marine 2 campaign up as a 3 hour movie on youtube. I decide to just watch the first 20 minutes just to see what it was like…ended up watching the whole 3 hours. The team who worked on this game did an excellent job on the look and feel of 40K. If anything live action 40K looks half this good it should be fine.
Oh, awesme. That part where the decal is being atomized and "rubbed off" on your skin is why, in California, this product would have a label declaring that this product has a cancer risk associated with it.
I'm so glad all the products I buy have entropy built in to make invreasing profits for the investor class. I can always count on the next thing I buy being of lesser quality than the last thing.
