  1. I really wish he streamed oneshot I am a huge fan of that game and I don’t know if he did the solstice route or not

  2. 46:57 the last time I checked that discord was when they were doing the poll for love lab, what did they decide on on how to implement it?

  3. 1:49:10 ClueFinders always felt like the more "teaching-focused" version of a lot of similar edutainment games of the general era (Carmen Sandiego, Math Blaster, Sonic's Schoolhouse, etc.)

  4. Here again to say how much I love these streams!

I don’t remember if I commented this before, or just thought about commenting and never did, but:
I played the metroidvania/3D platformer Psuedoregalia earlier this year and was blown away by how good it was for having never heard anything about the game prior to seeing it pop up on my Steam recommended page.

As far as I know it was made entirely by one dude, including the soundtrack, which is pretty sweet.

PS, I’d love to see you play through the Spyro trilogy!

  5. Im glad that you liked my drawing, it was meant to correlate not only with Kingsfield but also with you reviewing Souls games in general
    – nontheless its always happy to see my art on your streams 🙂 The game review streams are some of your favourite videos to watch (I would love to join in during a stream but its usually precisely in the middle of the night for me)
    Also, I am a He/Him

  6. You might already know this but the reason Ace Attorney Dual Destinies seems like a step down is because it was the first main Ace Attorney game that had no involvment from the series creator Shu Takumi as he was busy working on the Professor Layton crossover game, by the time he was done with that the team that was making Dual Destinies was almost finished so he started working on a seperate project which ended up being The Great Ace Attorney.

  7. Because of the conditional formatting issues:
He usually looks for the exact number to copy, but copying any formatted cell should generally copy the associated color function, and then changing the number should also change the color accordingly.
More generally, you can access the conditional formatting rule by right-clicking on any colored cell and scrolling to the bottom of the pop-up menu. There, changing the affected area to "<column>:<column>" (in case of the score column it'd be "D:D") should apply it to all cells in that column. (However, copying a cell/row/column from another table into that column will neither copy its original formatting rules nor apply any that are already present)

  8. The color palette was a great catch. I think another part of the joke is that he's Mario Paint-ing, the ONLY 10/10 game ever made.

  9. It's a shame grayfruit doesn't have any Treasure games on his radar (outside of like Ikaruga I think), he'd probably really like some of them because of their focus on bosses and weird heckin mechanics

  10. Good Roach Stream.
I felt similarly about Mario Wonder, polished, but not that different.

It also was very easy, so I lost interest pretty quick.

With Celeste 64, Penny's Big Breakaway and YTGV under your belt, I would wholeheartedly recommend Corn Kidz 64.
    It's a rad little 3D platformer

  11. havent even gotten to that part of the video but looking at the comments and seeing two different, lengthy comments disagreeing about the quality of Super Mario Wonder lets me know that this review stream is a good one

  13. I am very, very cynical about Nintendo, but I very much disagree with Wonder. It's not a 10/10, the story is extremely boring, which wouldn't be an issue if the game didn't have SO MUCH completely bland dialogue, but going through the game blind was very magical. I think what you get wrong is that the Wonder Seeds aren't just "oh wow look the thing is all weird!!!" They are a genius showcase of Mario's invisible difficulty select system that I find so fascinating, having your main collectible be essentially level clears and having both hidden seeds for expert players and enough tiny freebie levels for less experienced players is just, augh, I'm really mad with Nintendo but they are such geniuses when it comes to this kind of thing. One of the lead developers stated that they were experimenting with a button that makes the game harder on the fly, and I'm genuinely excited for a new 2D Mario with that idea. After that, I'm done with it forever like you said, lol. I'm one of those assholes that thinks 3D Mario should've ended with Galaxy, so trust me when I say this is a very rare case. You're also totally right about the Talking Flowers, I put the speaking voice on Russian for some free bilingual lessons.

  14. I kind of agree with you on Mario Wonder, as disappointing as it is to say. Another big complaint I have about it is that it felt aggressively easy, even compared to some of the other NSMB games. My friends and I were doing a playthrough, and we just kind of fell out of interest halfway through because the gameplay was just so utterly frictionless. The crazy level gimmicks were cool, but a lot of the time I was just reminded of similar but much better equivalents in the new DKC games.
