wish they would add the 3do music
Could you kindly name the song @17:05 ? Thanks for any assistance.
I recently started playing DOOM on PS5 for the first time but the PS4 version because I prefer DS4.
To my surprise they apparently updated PS5-version and I would have loved 120fps over 60fps but itโs still ok IMO and I usually crave high fps for shooters
Bruh a custom Graphical Modded WAD, does better job ๐๐๐๐๐
I cannot find sigil II shreds =(
How the heck did you find those in the mod browser?
I love how a troll wad made in 2001 has become a benchmarker for the PS5.
9:24 wow ew. no. bad example
I love it !
GZDoom is the worst example of a Doom port and takes a completely different approach to this rerelease. it should never be compared with it.
Going into the graphics settings and changing the rendering mode from Vulkan to D3D11 seems to have fixed the weird "stutter" while rotating, at least for me anyway (or unless I'm misattributing this to a patch/hotfix). Disabling controller acceleration also helps!
Finally Achievements on PC!
Long lives ps 5
Let's have Quake definive edition next
The sound isn't right either, the 2019 port had the Roland soundcard audio. This original sound is thin, no weight behind it.
I don't think my original ps4 port upgraded to new key engine.
Yep it didn't update, I can go to doom+doom2 and download that for free and the release date says 8/08/2024.
Little worried about my add on map saves though.
Is it just me or do the graphics look a little off from previous port?
Just played it, yes the gfx look too smooth. NM you can change resolutions.
I love this version. Itโs a blast. Iโm also glad it was a free upgrade since I owned the previous versions.
Do you need a bethesda account to play on switch?
So does that mean brutal doom stuff is on here nowl?
The ability to "just simply have split screen" on a PC is a WELCOME addition.
Is brutal doom on there?
PC is ALWAYS the CURRENT platform๐
How much does Sony pay you guys?
@14:05 : This Love from Pantera playing ๐ค
Ok but let's be honest. Andrew Hulshult is not a legend. He's just a Mick Gordon clones doing music for Doom clones, which is very appropriate, of course.
1:35 I got a kick out of the Nintendo Switch being called a current-gen console ๐
@krypto121 am I weird for liking the original doom soundtrack?
Havent watched any DF in a while. Before I loaded the video, I had a feeling I'd see a pretentious introduction regarding the legendary FPS, DOOM. They did not disappoint!
I'm from the netherlands, where can i buy this version?
I think the lack of a mouselook option is worth noting. I'm sure plenty of folks prefer not to use mouselook when llaying doom, but the option would be nice to have.
I'm not sure I'd ever buy this to play without a mouse and keyboard.
