  1. I recently started playing DOOM on PS5 for the first time but the PS4 version because I prefer DS4.

To my surprise they apparently updated PS5-version and I would have loved 120fps over 60fps but itโ€™s still ok IMO and I usually crave high fps for shooters

  2. Bruh a custom Graphical Modded WAD, does better job ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

  3. GZDoom is the worst example of a Doom port and takes a completely different approach to this rerelease. it should never be compared with it.

  4. Going into the graphics settings and changing the rendering mode from Vulkan to D3D11 seems to have fixed the weird "stutter" while rotating, at least for me anyway (or unless I'm misattributing this to a patch/hotfix). Disabling controller acceleration also helps!

  5. The sound isn't right either, the 2019 port had the Roland soundcard audio. This original sound is thin, no weight behind it.

  6. I don't think my original ps4 port upgraded to new key engine.
Yep it didn't update, I can go to doom+doom2 and download that for free and the release date says 8/08/2024.
Little worried about my add on map saves though.
Is it just me or do the graphics look a little off from previous port?
Just played it, yes the gfx look too smooth. NM you can change resolutions.

  7. I love this version. Itโ€™s a blast. Iโ€™m also glad it was a free upgrade since I owned the previous versions.

  8. Havent watched any DF in a while. Before I loaded the video, I had a feeling I'd see a pretentious introduction regarding the legendary FPS, DOOM. They did not disappoint!

  9. I think the lack of a mouselook option is worth noting. I'm sure plenty of folks prefer not to use mouselook when llaying doom, but the option would be nice to have.
