The J.K.Simmons vehicle Counterpart was much better than this, far more intelligently written, with fewer tropes to stumble over. It's not that this series is bad, just doesn't tread any new ground on the alternative universe setup. Apple is a bit hit and miss on its Sci-Fi shows, and a lot will depend on what you've already seen. If you have to bring Schrodinger's Cat to make something seem scientific, then fluff it with the tired old and wrong 'dead or 'alive' trope, credibility is lost with those who think facts should get in the way of a good sci-fi story.
So different than the book. Ridicoilus how filmmakers tear a good story to pieces. Read the book instead.

No offense but this is to all the studios not just apple but i don't want my tv shows to be movies i want my tv shows to be actual tv shows in it's correct format. I think you're trying to merge both tv shows and movies into one format but nooo i don't want this if i wanted to watch a movie i'll watch one.
It's also very confusing how you're still making movies but making tv shows like movies, there's no harm in having both formats for movies and tv shows. I've looked at every single new "tv show" in the last 3 years and it's all in this hollywood movie format, they're more like multiple part movies. None of them are what i'm looking for either the only one still like a tv show is The Boys the rest are like hollywood movies and i have absolutely nothing else to watch but old shows.
I mean you could permanently do both multiple part movies instead of editing it all into one and tv shows in the tv show format we've known for a long time now, it doesn't have to only be in the hollywood movie format common think outside the box (no pun intended). I've been quiet but i need me some new tv shows🙏
