Always wanted a Spider-Man multiplayer…

Welp. I guess the PC version is what's left to look forward to, then. If modders can rig up some kind of muktiplayer mode, that would be splendid.

So PS is doing the same thing with the Pro that Xbox did with the X…decieving their customers.

I been putting a little money aside ever since i heard about a ps5 pro. Now the only problem will be actually finding one of these "unnecessary" consoles because they'll surely sell out like everything Sony makes

I remember how Microsoft started putting games on PC, they used almost exactly the same verbiage and everything, and it wasn't long before everything was day 1. They just wanted to ease people into it, but internally they had switched development to accommodate simultaneous release.
I'm wondering by what game have they baked in day one PlayStation releases, because these things don't just happen,it takes time and planning. They knew for at least a year (likely more) before they put this first round of games on PlayStation

Great Web would be better off as an optional multiplayer DLC with end game content/minigames you can do together rather than a whole huge new game.

I mean you already have a playable Venom and you're only going to use a full functional playable character for ONE mission? USE IT! The other characters can be simply reskins and no one would complain! We'd all be full on into it!

This man said like ghost of Tsushima multiplayer that’s the worse idea. Ghost of Tsushima multiplayer should of been the open world. Look at rise of ronin they actually doing it right. Nobody wants a lackluster multiplayer and just to move on.

Maybe we could get spider-man 2 multiplayer with the spiderverse DLC? Not likely but a cool idea

If the PS5 Pro can guarantee 60 fps 4k on fidelity mode – I'd get it, otherwise it'd be beyond pointless

The great web has a lot of cool elements to it and I do hope they’ll incorporate some of those ideas in spidey 3 as you say coop would be super cool

UPDATE to my earlier post: apparently the PS5 PRO will incorporate the current console's disc drive unit, but no word on whether that also means it will be detachable in the same way.

What we can notice in new games in the last couple of years is that they are criminally low res and with blurry textures, we expected next gen visuals as in God of War Ragnarok or such, now games looks worse than on PS4 pro and normally we will never tolerate bad visuals in our free time for our money. Life is short so we want only the best possible next gen visuals, cinematic cutscenes quicktime events and straight romances in third person single player storydriven adventures and RPGs

I would def play a spiderman multiplayer mode if it was made like the legends mode in got. I put so many hours on that with my friend, its really fun and well made.

Cannot believe they cancelled the Spider-Man multiplayer game. It looked like it had potential, maybe as a free to play title

there are 575 Spiderman comic books and these clowns at insomniac can't make enough content for a live service game to last 2 years

they just aren't smart enough
