I got the physical edition of Nintendo World Championships for my older brother's birthday and might grab a digital copy for myself if he says it's good (or if SwitchUp convinces me with a review). I will also keep an eye out on the Turtles game waiting for a sale. I'm not a fan but my brother grew up with them and I'm sure he'd love it.

TMNT: Splintered Fate was neat from the little bit I played on Apple Arcade. My biggest issue with it there was having to play using touch screen controls. Maybe it'll be better with real buttons.
I'd say the game I'm looking forward to most is the NES World Championships: NES Edition. I really enjoyed the NES Remix titles on the Wii U and 3DS.

Ninja turtles is really a roguelike like hades?
I can't get over how lazy, genetic and ugly much of game art had become. Examples here are tmnt, rivalia, and fuled up. Looks like a race to the bottom for many studios choosing cheap and easy models and lighting effects over memorable hand drawn or quality asthetics. Sad
Darkest dungeon, over the horizon and schim are examples of devs that care what their genes look like.

$30 for the Ninja Turtles game is fine with me. Roguelikes are the best bang for the buck considering you’re probably going to play 100+ hours to unlock everything and keep replaying the game to beat it on ascending difficulties. $30 was how much we were paying for video games 30 years ago, games that could be beat in a few hours also
