I actually picked up Trinity Fusion last night. Yes it has some tough games to compete with in that genre, I can confidently say it has nothing to worry about. I played it until my Switch ran out of battery. I have played a lot of roguelite games and there are some similarities of course, however it has a few differences the others do not giving it an edge over the competition. I am very excited for any and all upcoming updates it has, replay ability is strong with this one.

Patiently waiting for Hard Time III.

Was gonna pick up a physical of SNK Vs Capcom and decided not to once I saw Limited Run is putting it out

Snk vs capcom is definitely on my list. But i buy it either when i win lottery or when its heavily discounted 😂

SNK vs Capcom and Star Wars Bounty hunter are the one for me this go around. Personally I will be holding out for a potential physical for both of these 🙏

Thank goodness you're here Switchup. 😊 I've watched a demo play through of this and it is a strange but hilaroius point and click. Only thing this week that interests me.

"Set before the events of Attack of the Clones" well I'd hope so, don't want spoil a 20 year old film but a game set after would be a much harder sell.

I played the Trinity Fusion demo, just after I had played Dead Cells.
Trinity Fusion certainly falls quite flat, compared to Dead Cells.
Extremely uninspired and shallow and boring combat.
But the music is great.

Have you seen unavowed and heavens vault are on sale? Unavowed super rarely goes on and heavens vault is lowest price ever. If you haven't already you should check these games out 👍

I think that I will pick up SNK vs. Capcom SVC Chaos and I'm not even into beat 'em ups.
Trinity Fusion looks interesting but I have oh so many metroidvania games already.
Mars 2120 is another one of the same genre so it goes to the back of the list as you can't really purchase every game.
And isn't Star Wars: Bounty Hunter an old GameCube game?

But I'll still say this – the switch library is massive and dense and there is NEVER a scenario where you don't have quality games yet to be played 😅 I'm gonna squeeze the life out of it until Switch 2 does at least one cycle and has an upgraded version

The end of any console life cycle is always marred by indies and mediocre games with nary a 1st party title or 3rd party AAA games. The switch is done. It's time

Indies are the heart of the Nintendo switch and they will continue to be the heart of the Switch 2. There is no way Nintendo will pull a very powerful console with mobile specs and decent 7 hours or so battery.

People complaining about indies should go play on another console.
AAA apart from Nintendo’s own games won’t be there. At least not for long.

Trinity fusion looks actually quite great, hope perfomance wont be an issue.

I can’t imagine how expensive it must be to keep making this content. Not even the videos but buying all these games to review and talk about… or is some of it just based off gameplay videos and summaries?

Trinity Fusion looks like it has potential, but the movement in the demo wasn't as smooth as I was hoping.

So the trinity fusion looks good but i just got deaths gambit afterlife, also landarama? I am a sucker for hexagonal strategy games. I am mostly just posting here so i dont forget to wish list them

Video games are dying and they're all just copying each other.
Storytelling and writing is just not as good in video games as it is in books, television or movies, at least as consistently. There are a few games were the writing is good but the acting and voice acting destroy it as well as load screens and filler content with battles.
Video games are a broken medium that the adult brain especially in intelligent one gets bored of quickly. We can see all the elements and numbers behind the curtain.
We're just numbers disguised as avatars trying to grow bigger than other numbers till the game ends. Long live Mario kart and it's the simplicity
