Anbernic RG35XXSP Impressions: They Nailed It

The clamshell RG35XXSP is Anbernic’s latest handheld, and their first with this form factor. Even though they tried a lot of new features with this one, they actually were able to stick the landing. In this first-look video we’ll go over my first impressions in terms of size, look, and feel of the device.

  1. Have anyone made a guide for getting Pico 8 to run natively on the SP? I really like the clamshell and really want to get a handheld suitable for Pico 8, but I'm getting mixed messages as to if this one is good for it.

  2. Ciao! Ovviamente avendo i dovuti cavi.

HI! A question: is it possible to exchange data with the original consoles using these consoles? Let me explain better: I have a GBA SP and I buy the ANBERNIC RG35XXSP, loaded in both Pokemon. In your opinion, can data exchange be feasible? Obviously having the necessary cables.

  3. Trying hard NOT to buy it…. It looks so good! I want to replace my RetroFlag GPi (Pi 02w installed). Will this perform better? I do like my GPi, but the larger screen and extra buttons would be handy. Subscribed for the great content, thanks.

  4. Ive had a 353M for about a year, but now i want one of these just for form factor and nostalgic purposes. These actually look pretty dope 🤔

  5. Why does never anybody who test these things show only a split second of Pokemon?? Cant be the only one who consider buying one of these just for the first generation Pokemon games.

  6. Just curious can you play game gear, neo geo pocket, and wonder swan games on the go?
