Ryzen 5000, 7000 and 9000 users scrambling to get into insider program. Furious keyboard clacking sounds with unhinged mouse clicks Also does intel get any performance increase from the new scheduler? Would like to see side by side. With this amd is surely ahead not being gimped by freaking windows.
How does this compare to windows 10?
wait final release and testing 7500f
What about 1440p ?
What about the new tdp increase results? How does 9000 compare to 7000 then? This video is unfortunately outdated as it compares 105w 7000 with 65w 9000. That's only relevant if 9000 is restricted to 65w, which it isn't anymore.
7800 x3d 3d stay king of all procesors im using 5800x3d and i dont need to buy better for 10 % performance :))
pls do this with r5 9600x and 7600x
will the 5800x3d and 7800x3d be tested too?
The human eye can't see more than 30 fps anyway.
So this does not work for Zen 3 to?
Why not test AMD's x3d CPUs??? If they don't have good gains it means x3d CPUs are not as impressive as before! :))))
please do zen 3 too comparing to windows 10
i've been waiting for a reason to update to win 11
Normal. Intel is us company supported by yhe government. So is microsoft.
Will there be a video with the 7800X3D?
No ryzen 5000 testing for us peasants?
Is Intel going to get any sort of performance uplift from the 24H2 update?
So don’t upgrade from 5000 to 7000 and don’t upgrade from 7 to 9.
Thanks for making the 5k series so good AMD!
(I didn’t watch the whole video so I’m definitely talking out of my ass)
I think you can do much better at researching the explanation. AMD certainly understands what is going on. Ask them for a technical.
You can only say "I can't explain" for so long before it becomes clear you don't care to know. Get better informed, please.
For the ryzen 9700x did they test with the 65w TDP? or already with the new 105w?
For Intel need to disable e cores and then patch will bring bigger boost.
😮can you test zen 3
So i was right, 24H2, all virtual security is off. Told you guys 4 days ago in this comment section
Does it apply to Windows 10 as well?
Is this for 1080p or 1440p?
will you be doing windows 10 vs W11 24H2? because this could be major, as the majority of users remain on W10 with many for the same reasons as me, gaming performance tends to be better on W10 but if this changes that then many will switch to W11
I don't believe you have to take the whole 24H2 if you don't want to. Check windows update "optional updates" and the KB fix is there. I don't remember the number and I am not looking it up again. I installed it 3-4 days ago and it works.
Anyone having problem alt-tabbing in this version?, its so slow..
If only it wasn't because Memory Integrity is off by default for some odd reason in 24H2.
This is weird, I am just looking at Hardware Canucks review of the windows update effect on Zen 5. On their 9900X, they see about 22% gains in cyberpunk 2077 and 18% on CS2. As an example. Idk why Hardware unboxed is not seeing this. Both at 1080p high settings. Someone somewhere is doing something wrong. Or the methods are not the same.
Can test this on mobile chips including handhelds like rog ally?
Dosent affect windows 10?
Is it possible that core isolation has been turned off on 24H2 by default? That could explain these massive gains
When you get a chance, check out hardware canucks' newest video. Lots of interesting results there
Leaving the pinned comment on this video regarding your findings would be appreciated 👍
Thank you for the hard work
Zen 3 benchmarks would have been nice. Also, I wonder if this affects older CPUs like Zen 2.
Will this work with win10?
hi Steve, can u do a comparison between win 10 and win 11 24H2 gaming performance? since before said that win 10 is better for gaming?
is weird, starfield and counter strike 2, are showing huge increases on other reviews like hw canucks. I always trust Hw unboxed, but the best choice is check multiple sources.
You might want to check memory integrity setting as it's turned off by default in new 24H2.
Did you have memory integrity on or off? my 24h2 update had that on off by default. 23h2 has on by defautl.
23H2 just had an update that adds the performance fix and in some cases actually performs better than the 24H2 update. Also, make sure Memory Integrity is ON. Doing a fresh install disables it by default, and having it off inflates performance gains.
Did you make sure Memory Integrity was enabled after the update if you did a fresh install? Doing a fresh install of Windows 11 disables this by default, which will also increase performance.
I know this is a little selfish as a Zen 3 owner, but I can't help be want to know what the difference is for that generation <3
Oxidation team!
SWEET!! My 7700X just became like an 8700X for free!?
AMD Fine Wine(TM) isn't a negative and carrying on more than ever!! Darnit, I'll take free performance any day.
Did this do anything for the micro stuttering in the jedi game?
Do the 5800x3d and 5700x3d next please 🙂
is there a recent video comparing windows 11 to windows 10?
I've switched my laptop to linux b/c I really dislike using windows 11, and Im keeping my desktop on windows 10 for now (with Alder Lake cpu)
Awesome testing Steve a mammoth task. I’m curious how older AM4 would fare such as 5800 X3D etc. 🤔
