  1. the fat32 being above 32GB and now its 2tb limit thing had been around for a long time… its just windows were not willing to let us format fat32 natively on their OS to anything above 32GB… they had the limit above 32 GB for a long time but never had allowed windows users to format FAT32 to above 32GB… its because they wanted to push for total NTFS…. even ExFAT was removed from GUI natively and you have to do it on command line….

  2. I really regret the UK leaving the EU. While yes, we get more control, we also don't get any more privacy laws from the EU, nor do we get sideloading on iOS. 🙁

Even more, I was too young to vote at the time.

  3. you should have made a single episode sitting on a toilet…

i'd bet those comments about the closet being a bathroom are from europeans… closets aren't really a thing over here and i have seen bathrooms somewhat resembling that closet…

  4. The Firefox reference is a WAN show reference where everyone (or mostly everyone) who uses floatplane uses it on Firefox.

  5. The UK and Japan will also be getting the Epic Games Store on iOS in the second half of 2025. This is due to the DMCCA (UK) and the SSCPA (Japan), which are equivalents to the EUs Digital Markets Act, with a few slight changes. But the iPhone will still be getting the same features as the EU currently has.

  6. I didn't even realize he wasn’t in the closet until he mentioned it lol

  7. the only reason the efficiency got shit on was because it wasn't efficient. i know everyone wants 4090 performance in a 200w card that doesnt take half the pc and a goddam stand so it doesn't break the motherboard

  8. Wait.. theater mode doesn't get rid of the black bars on the left/right side on 1440p monitors. Did I just get bamboozled by Brett? ALL HOPE IS LOST!

  9. I like that they have upped the limit for Fat32, but isn't it a bit late to be going up to 2TB?
With 20TB+ capacity drives being on the market for years now. How long before 2TB is the smallest size we can still buy?

  10. Hey, the more competition, the better! Competition drives prices down and quality up.

Apple's never going to really get into gaming, let's be real here. They've got their market. I can see them trying to get iOS stuff working on Mac, but no one is going to buy that hipster status symbol for high-end gaming.

  11. ARM & stuff like RISCV are making me hopeful for a future that breaks away from the traditional x86 controllers, and brings worldwide competition to the market

  12. Wait, you push people to a podcast!? But then how would people see Reece's wonderful face each day?
Also, the stool pun at the end us underrated 😀

  13. Hot News: Presenter finally comes out of the closet to present the Hot News.

200+ comments already, how has anyone not yet made that joke?!

Love your work, bro. Especially the stool joke at the end

  14. Intel had heaps of scheduler issues when the big/little core arrangement came out. AMD having issues doesn't mean Microsoft and Intel are in bed together.

  15. In googles defense, MrWhosTheBoss is biased to Iphone, sometimes when he does samsung vs iphone he is like "oh samsung has can talk, it can wash your dishes , it can find you a job, and does the job for you and you get paid, Iphone has none of that, and is useless against all that but it has a square camera array which i like so Iphone won", and Marquess is biased towards the Samsung in the same way sooo google does not want the reviewr to crown a useless phone the winner against the pixel when the pixel is the actual winner just because the other phone has 1% more battery life

  16. it's intels new error lake gen cpu's..
non admin accounts by default run inside a hypervisor I'd expect a difference compared to bare metal

  17. ughh im so lost with cpu naming I have no clue what a good amd cpu is like ryzen 3600 or 5600 was good and intels old naming scheme was good but now it feels like monitors luckily im broke so i can’t afford any new cpus

  18. I feel like every CPU compnay needs to become a GPU compnay at this point. They don't really need to compete with Nvidia. Integrated graphics are becoming more and more relevant for phones and laptops so the CPU company that can have the best combo of CPU and GPU will have the edge

  19. I hate the efficiency mode on windows too. So annoying. Microsoft like "We making your computer efficient." No you're making it slower. That's inefficient.

  20. ARM might make some pretty good gpus. I mean the gpus they got in phones are like 1/4 the size of a sim card and can play 4K resolution games. Lol. Now their chips the size of a full sized desktop gpu might be pretty mental.

  21. I mean. If Honda gives someone a car and says advertise it, It makes no sense for the person to turn around and say, Honda gave me this car but you should buy this dodge instead cause its better. Lol.

  22. Team pixel just sounds like the myriad of brand sponsorship deals that sporting personalities and others typically do and it is normally the case that say a professional footballer in the premier league is sponsored by addidas for the boots they wear won't support other brands outside of that. Similarly with racing drivers racing for a particular team will usually only drive the brand of vehicles associated with them, so ferrari f1 driver Charles lecere would not drive a Ford for instance.

  23. Alright, I had a hell of a time finding a new card 4 years ago when finally upgrading from my at the time 12 year old PC.
I know that means more cards to have to look through, I has faith ARM will do a good job competing & maybe forcing Nvidia to get real about their rickdiculous pricings
