while the trailer doesn't get into the specifics on who these characters are besides fucking jack black, id be happier with the movie if they cut off the adult characters and just have the two kids being the stars portrayed as Steve and Alex. keep it simplistic and do a Mario movie thing, being thrown into a world they're unfamiliar with, they learn, they craft, they build, and they reach "the end". thats just me tho, like who tf is is this mf in pink and purple, did they find someone who's stuck in the 80s or some shit? and why jack black? oh cuz its Hollywood and having a well known actor sells tickets
