I had 2 must play games for this year and that was dragons dogma 2 and starwars outlaws. I bought dragons dogma 2 day 1 and played it twice and loved it even more on my 2nd play through because i had actually missed so much content on my first play through.
Now outlaws was supposed to be another day 1 purchase because I'm an original starwars fans of the 70's and 80's when I grew up as a kid. But all the low review scores and talk of a lot of stealth gameplay has actually stopped me from buying this game.
I still really want to get outlaws so I was planning on waiting for a half price sale. But would you say to me if you love the starwars universe then you'll love this game? Even though you can't take on missions as you see fit. It's mostly forced stealthy sneaking about missions.
I know you've got a lot on your schedule, but do you have any plans to stream the 2 upcoming story DLCs (Wild Card and A Pirate's Fortune)? I'm sorry to miss the finale live, but it was a really fun adventure! Thanks for sharing the ride with us, Ren!
Now this is how a review should be done. Sick of the reviews where they've played it for a few hours and moan saying it should have had a character creator (or other things that it was never said to have), the look of the main character doesn't look like the voice actor (since when is that a reason to down vote a game), there's too much stealth etc etc. Excellent review.
Not a big Star Wars fan but this is still a great game for me. I'm amazed at the amount of stuff there is to do! It's very ambitious so I'm not surprised there's a few kinks here. Certainly one of the best games I've played this year.
Many people have been like “would this be reviewing even as good as it if it wasn’t a Starwars game?” Which seems like such a weird question. It is a Starwars game and it can’t be separated from that. Why don’t people ask that of other games? Lol
