  1. Oh great now I have to play it again to experience all the changes and updates 😀

  2. Ahhh, another "next gen" game, tapered, and filtered, and neutered through underpowered hardware and an uninspiring art style.
Fun fact: more than Sakaguchi, artist Yoshitaka Amano is the driving force behind the VISUAL of FF.
Consider how his art inspired the characters of the most iconic FF entries. More than the stories, which are all derivatives of the same thing (big bad, crystals, party of miscreants and oddballs saving the world from cosmic evil, etc..), Amano-san's art DRIVES the best FF games AND the best RPGs.
Lost Odyssey is a game worth playing just for his art.
Exception is anime worth watching for his art.
This isn't his creation, and it shows.
Between the "wishes he was a FF6 villain" big bad to the gender swap 2B, it's not just typical, it's flavorless.
There's paying homage and then there's dragging in the mud of nostalgia because you couldn't think of anything better.
No one played the game on Apple Arcade, so they're trying to pull a profit. But it's about as original as another turn based DQ game from the same storyline as 11.
Switch made THAT game worse, and it's dragging another game down because Nintendo would rather make something cheap than capable.

  3. I played this on Apple Arcade and got 65 hours of frustration with this game. Players on the Nintendo Switch from what I understand will have the option to play this on "Normal difficulty". If you love your sanity click the easiest difficulty possible. 😂

  4. picked up the game again after messing up my first attempt due to bad game saves. Really love everything about it. Can't wait for the next part.

  5. The Dimengeon is an incredible addition. In a classic FF, you'll have around 400/500 battles in 30 hours. In an SMT game, around 800/900. In a DQ game, almost as many. In a classic Tales game, around 600. In Fantasian, you'll have about 200 random battles in 30 hours. The difference is huge. The game focuses more on exploration (discovering new places, expanding already visited areas, etc.), management (finding books that expand your skill board, finding useful accessories, etc.), and especially on incredibly well-designed and strategic boss battles.

I think it's the ultimate formula for a classic RPG because, let's be honest, battles against minor enemies in RPGs are usually repetitive and uninteresting; the real meat (if there is any) is always in the big boss battles. And Fantasian understands that perfectly.

  6. Holy… I've been waiting for this game because I don't have an iphone. I've been asking for this and so happy they're making this game accessible for more people.

  7. I think Its going to be a Game that im also going to get maybe:-) Looks great for me .. depending on the value of time i can spend on IT Game modes . Then that Last Thing is the price and physikal Version

  8. So to be clear, if I don't want to deal with an enemy right off, I can banish it to the Shadow Realm?

  9. Personally I love the combat system. Haven't seen much like it and experimentation/innovation is lacking in the gaming industry

  10. ¡Al fin! Nunca perdí la fe de que este título llegaría a consolas de nueva generación y especialmente en Nintendo Switch, han pasado años pero aún así estoy muy emocionado por este anuncio. 🙏

  11. This looks like it has potential. As an older gamer- I no longer have patience for “live action” video games. Why? I have other stuff going on and I can’t devote my full attention to a game every time I play. I need to be able to walk away and come back and know I didn’t get killed in the game. Thankful for the return of turn based games

  12. Played the first half of this on iPad back in 2021 and it was INCREDIBLE. This is a MUST BUY for anyone who likes Final Fantasy.

  13. It's weird how they said coming "this holiday", which apperently mean this holiday season, I was confused at first thinking what? Juneteenth? THIS holiday? …. Usually, peolle refer to launches around christmas time as this holiday "season". I know it sounds like I'm niggling, but that was pretty confusing
