I could be wrong but I think silver travels through time maybe that’s him. and that’s how Gerald robotnik comes back to life because silver brought him from the past. but I doubt that’s gonna happen
I think they're wanting to hide Amy from the trailer, so her arriving in the movie will be a shocker to everyone. Because they're missing a major part as to why Shadow realizes Maria never wanted destruction, because Amy helps him remember and change sides to save earth instead of destroying it.
Hate to be the bringer of bad news but I don’t think Amy is going to be in the movie. Yes Amy played a huge role in Sonic Adventure 2 but the movie is taking inspiration from the game and Shadow the Hedgehog game too but I do wish for Amy to join the movie but I don’t think she will unless we have more evidence than a empty spot

It could just be a lamp shadow because they are on a dock but it does look odd so it could be amy or another character
