I'm a little unimpressed with the nso packs. I mean, you can already get these game libraries, complete, on your phone. I've been waiting for GameCube and Wii on a handheld, for years. Honestly, I would much rather buy an emulation device like rp4 pro and play my GameCube games on that, instead of waiting on Nintendo to finally add them to nso, and pay a monthly subscription for the privilege to play games that I already legally own physical copies of. I don't even want much… If Nintendo would port Zelda ww and tp for GameCube, I would be so happy! Of course, I want remasters, not nso subscription versions.

I feel like there's no point adding a gamecube games on NSO. After a months/months/a year, it would have been totally useless without the membership. I want a port or a remaster so that I can get it physically.

I doubt we'll see large scale Gamecube emulation on the current hardware. Gamecube is a tough system to emulate, and we shouldn't forget Switch has the performance of a 10 year old smartphone.

This is what Nintendo should of did:
When the 2017 console came out, they should of right away made a decision and say an Explanation pack is coming to add good content and over time, add more content and then add the GameCube tier at $50 a year, but instead of doing that, they added the Expansion pack addition later and now it’s so later that when they make the next console, GameCube would be added with an increase and leaving people that still has the original Nintendo Switch out of the picture and want people that probably doesn’t have the money to spend on a brand new console to play GameCube, I just wish they added it like in 2018 or 2019 vs letting players to wait and wait if it’s going to be added this year

If they do put GameCube games on Nintendo Switch Online I would be really happy. They should do the same thing with the 3DS games too and the DS. I really think it be really amazing. I know Nintendo shop is shutting down on the 3rd and Wii U but I’m hoping that if you really cool that if they did that but 3DS games on switch and game cube games, they should do the same thing with Nintendo Wii as well. Nintendo is amazing and I think it’s, pretty awesome to see that they’ve been doing their Nintendo Switch Online import to put their old gaming system. like the Nintendo 64 on Nintendo Switch Online and I really enjoy it and then I think it’s great that they’re doing it. I hope they will do it at the next Nintendo direct.

How do you think N64 games on Nintendo Switch Online would work on the Nintendo Switch 2? Would some of them have better frame rates and performance or would they stay the same? And would GameCube games be part of the Expansion Pack?

Anything except Pokemon please. But I can’t see them rolling it out in the current switch, perhaps the new hardware?

I pay for the basic service and I think if they are going to do GameCube games then some serious memory cards are going to have to be purchased. There’s no way that all of that GameCube data would be able to be kept on a Nintendo switch.

Maybe they are releasing the Gamecube controllers alongside some GameCube HD ports (windwaker, twilight Princess, Metroid prime 2&3, f-zero gx, kid Icarus uprising) and the current announced GameCube HD ports and has nothing to do with NSO.

I don't think it's going to happen. Every one just assumes that since it came after the N64 it should be next to be added. But I remember that back a few years ago, people assumed the same with the mini consoles. Everyone was saying the N64 was next because we just got the SNES, so it had to happen. But it never did. The gamecube library is probably going to only happen on remasters for the time being. Don't get me wrong I would very much like this to happen, but I just don't see it. I hope I'm wrong.

The only things Nintendo need to release a record breaking switch 2 is a new open world mainline pokemon game, and a new Mario Kart
