This just made me remember that the Wii Shop Channel never sold Nintendo’s big games. Though I do get it; Virtual Console was pretty much the point of its launch, and WiiWare was just a bunch of smaller games.

I really miss when these shops had not just personality, but a user-friendly experience. The lack of filtering on the Switch eShop is…apparent, to say the least.
