I thought that was cool. They didn't change all the premise of the original, but ended up changing so much that the beginning was the most recognizable part. Your playthrough felt like a good horror movie. So they basically took the idea of the demon haunted house and expanded it with NPCs to interact with and a plot that felt a little like Silent Hill.
I have questions are the people in the house ghost? or they stuck in the house?
Yep… Another boring game I won;t be buying or playing. A Resident Evile Village type of game clone.
At around 137:20 I am glitched and can’t continue the game. When I select the cloth to go down the rope it doesn’t I initiate the scene with him sliding down. Gonna have to reinstall.
What's with that "huh, huh" forward leaning of the character? It's very annoying.
Still prefer the 90's infogrames PC original. Even that is more atmospheric than this

its not the greatest game ever but platimng with david harbour new orleans voddo swamps plantations french influenced culture mansions ambiance is awesome puzzles are really cheap and nonsense dont get discouraged if u dont get them its a cheap way of artifcially enmlongating the gameplaya few hours but in the end its agood game until october 2025 and gta 6

Good enough story, kinda short and simple, and only make sense from reading the notes but god they sure read slow for the immersion.
Finished the game and i like it though i have to say that i feel the last chapter and the ending overall felt so rushed and kinda anticlomatic so much buildup on the story and just cut it in such an abrup way, i dont know the way that was handled i didnt like it it seems like they had a deadline and ran out of time. Was a interesting and fun game but on he story wise some characters and progression on the events felt very rushed and inconsistent.

I'm at the beginning of chp 4… I entered to see how long is the game.. I've played 7 hours until now and my man has finished the game in less then 6😂😂😂😂

I've never come across a more irritating game, the constant panting on a loud speaker sounds so awkward. The character dialogue and accents are overdone, and the game itself is boring.
Thank you MK, you are a good player and the game is also worth seeing. Good atmosphere. But you are way to rushy for the atmo.

Nowhere near as good as The 1st edition Playstation version. Very average sound track that has NO Alone In The Dark feel.
It says full play through but don’t you have to play both campaigns to see the full story..?
