Super/Man: The Christopher Reeve Story | Official Trailer

The man you knew, the story you didn’t. Super/Man: The Christopher Reeve Story – Only in Theaters September 21 and September 25. Tickets Now Available #ChristopherReeveStory

The story of Christopher Reeve is an astonishing rise from unknown actor to iconic movie star, and his definitive portrayal of Clark Kent/Superman set the benchmark for the superhero cinematic universes that dominate cinema today. Reeve portrayed the Man of Steel in four Superman films and played dozens of other roles that displayed his talent and range as an actor, before being injured in a near-fatal horse-riding accident in 1995 that left him paralyzed from the neck down.

After becoming a quadriplegic, he became a charismatic leader and activist in the quest to find a cure for spinal cord injuries, as well as a passionate advocate for disability rights and care – all while continuing his career in cinema in front of and behind…

  1. I'm 45 and grew up watching all those Superman movies. The first movie I think is an all time classic. I can't watch that movie without crying. Especially the beautiful scene when young Clark tells Ma Kent he's leaving the farm. This trailer brought tears to my eyes. When that classic theme hit, I lost it. Christopher Reeves was the Superman to me as a kid and still is. May he continue to Rest In Paradise.

  2. I cannot go to a theater full of other men and cry for two hours. I just can’t.

  3. Because of him I believe in real heroes!

  10. I remember coming out from the theatre, stopping on the sidewalk, clenching my fist and putting my arm up because he really DID make me believe he could fly (if you're younger, that was the tagline for the movie – "you will believe a man can fly").. and I wanted to fly, too😊
