Dragon Age: Vows & Vengeance Trailer

Set in the vast world of Thedas, Dragon Age: Vows & Vengeance was created in collaboration with BioWare and based on their award-winning video game franchise, Dragon Age. This 8-episode immersive fantasy series features a pair of heroes brought together by fate as they embark on a journey of revenge, redemption, and love.

The series stars Mae Whitman as Nadia, Brigette Lundy-Paine as Drayden, and Armen Taylor as Elio.

Nadia, a retired cat burglar, is lured back into action for the thrill of one last score. Unknowingly employed by the Dread Wolf, Nadia tracks down a powerful ancient artifact and both she and her lover, Elio, find themselves caught in a web of lies that threaten the entire world. When Elio is seemingly banished to the Fade – a mystical magical plane – Nadia desperately searches for answers on a rescue mission across Thedas.

  1. A Dragon Age story to listen to, anywhere?
With the real voice actors from the game?

Ooh, you guys knew where to aim with this one. This is awesome and very much in my lane.

  2. This would have been better in my opinion as 8 small expansions. You can play not as Rook but as the main person of that particular story-arc.

  3. No Sexual content? M rated games are a joke now… Origins will always be the best in the series

  4. As of this moment, I see no reason to buy Dragon Age Veilguard. I see a lot of cutscenes stitched together. I see a lot of words being thrown around. Show me the character creation tool, information on skill tree building, etc… I don't for one second believe Dragon Age Veilguard is a proper RPG. How about character customization? Why is this game following in the horrific claustrophobic trend as Dragon Age II? What the heck is going on?

  5. I'd rather you all release the audiobook version for Hard In Hightown already. Years ago you teased the book's release by having Brian Bloom (Varric Tethris) read a passage from it. Hell have him narrate it, I'm sure he wouldn't say no.

  6. I don't believe that those who write comments here are real people. this is some kind of shit, why is everyone excited? Are you all crazy?

  7. When is this going to be available? Also where is Hawke? Is he even alive?
P.S. Let us trash talk to Solas in the game. I am sick of his accusations.

  8. UM EXCUSE ME BIOWARE?! WHERE DID ALL THIS CONTENT CAME FROM?! OMG I kid you not, I got goosebumps from Sola's beautiful voice.

  9. Umm this is now turning to like Fallout TV commercials And sounds even more boring.with boring voices.

  10. I honestly can't believe the amount of vitriolic comments on here. They offer a free bonus story, with the actual voice case, available pretty much anywhere you want to check it out, that doesn't spoil the main game – and people are acting pissy about it. That, or they don't understand the concept of an audio drama and so they act belligerent to cover for their ignorance. Geez, if you not interested, then just don't tune in. No need to come here and be insulting.

  11. I kinda wish they had labeled this as a trailer for a podcast ngl. It feels…. deceptive to put this on their main channel whilst in the middle of a leadup to one of their core video game releases. They surely had to know many probably clicked on this expecting another trailer for the actual Veilguard. But I suppose its not the biggest of deals, I'm not accusing BioWare of being liars mind.

  12. Well, yes, I may have covid rn but i surely sertain I'm not dead yet so why it's feels like I'm already in heaven? Cant wait to hear all episodes ❤

  13. On the plus side: No ugly visuals to look at.
On the negative side: It sounds boring as f

  15. Dear BioWare — please consider adding an official descriptive transcript for the audio drama as you release them. Not only does this feel like a really significant oversight in terms of inclusivity for the fans who are deaf, hearing impaired, ESL, or deal with audio processing issues, but it was really disappointing to see on the official BioWare discord commentary from the EA moderators that fan transcripts were welcome. While fan labor is obviously a labor of love and part of an ongoing dialogue between the creators and the wider fan community, it really should not fall onto the shoulders of the fan community to provide accessibility for an official piece of BioWare media. I strongly encourage the media team and studio leadership to reconsider, and to make sure that not only do the transcripts or subtitles indicate who is speaking, but also indicate when there are significant elements in the soundscape that those who otherwise would not be able to access this part of the storytelling can grasp. As someone who is deaf as well as struggles with audio processing and who has loved BioWare games since 2009, it feels really bad to be excluded in this manner.

  16. Hey Bioware, really looking forward to Veilguard! Was wondering if before it drops you could put out like a 'story so far' video. I've owned and played all of the game entries but could do with a refresher 😅

  17. Can't wait for it !!!! And I hope (if this one works well) we can get more audio dramas in the future, there is so much to unveil (get it? un-Veil? Anyway) within the Dragon Age lore, all across Thedas. Games will always have their limitations, as do all forms of media. But audio dramas would be SO good in DA's universe!!
