  1. Come on Lucid! Please make it!! Its a Beautiful car! But Need more dealers outside of Calif. (Austin, please!)

  2. There is no make or break moment for Tesla. Robotaxi isn't even that big a market. It's not a major part of their future it's just hype. Selling their cars is the future of Tesla. FSD can continue to progress. It might be make or break for my Tesla stock….

  3. Wait…they are making a cheaper model …to sell in Mexico?? That seems obvious. Also vegan leather is garbage so cloth seats might not be that different.

  4. The point of a subcompact is a car that is physically smaller. Like a Honda Fit or a Toyota Yaris. There is a market for smaller cars globally, and also increasingly in the U.S. I personally was hoping for an affordable subcompact at highest trim level.

  5. 2021 m3 lr, been checking in on fsd since i made the purchase. Mostly in wooded back roads and general north west nj. These additional cameras and changes in angles make sense. Unprotected turns seem to leave the fsd software wanting more data from the hardware, imho many blind spots need to be addressed.

Cheers to the future and ty Ryan for the content!

  6. In my climate, I'd happily take cloth seats in my '19 Model 3 and I can easily live without heated seats/steering wheel. I would probably turn off the light strip if my car had it, so don't care about that either. I feel like Tesla has gone minimalist in all the wrong ways, while maintaining/adding gimmicks. Put the turn signals back where they belong, and if you really need to save that $5, how about a regular 'ole button on the glovebox? You can even give me a push-latch charging door–really, it's fine.

  7. Everyone is saying that Tesla released a cheaper Model 3.

Me checking Tesla Mexican webpage: Tesla Model 3 RWD with the mentioned downgrades 749.000$. Me converting pesos to US Dollar 749.000 = 40.064$.

So where is the under 35.000$ Tesla?

  8. Recurrent is a nice idea. The downside is an add-on for Firefox web browser that allows people to make live edits to any HTML document, save it, and print it. This makes it super easy to commit fraud by just about anyone.

  9. Downgrading the model 3 should be an option, since the price of the base Model 3 is still within the 'premium' range and shall offer all of the premium features it offers now, specially for an EV car, which type of platform faces slower sell growth compared to ICE makers.

I think (and hope) Tesla only tests the cheaper Model 3 alternative for Mexican market for the upcoming "Model 2" with bigger price cut and confirmed downgrade of the features/specs.

  10. Yea! Cloth seats! I know that cloth seats aren't for everyone, but for me, not being able to get cloth seats is a deal breaker. and no, I don't mind shampooing my cloth seats about once per year to keep them looking fresh.

  11. Emergency braking should be a basic part of the car's safety features, not only included with FSD.

  12. think is discouraging. Tesla, is down grading while the comp is ramping up the options and staying at a now price.

  13. How do you know that "all of these used Lucids are lightly driven" as stated? That's an odd proclamations make and entirely unnecessary for purposes of this video. Lucid's used inventory is the same as Teslas is the same as Audi or Toyota. Each one is a mystery and it's important to inspect each one carefully to try to get an idea how it was actually treated.

Also, the Tesla screen being portrait or landscape isn't an indicator of MCU1. Tesla made cars for years (4ish) with a portrait screen layout that were an upgraded MCU2. Just seeing a portrait layout doesn't necessarily mean it's MCU1. Especially since Tesla introduced a path for MCU1 cars to upgrade to MCU2. It's a pretty safe bet to say that MOST (as in more than 50%) cars these days with a portrait layout screen or probably MCU2 by now.

  14. Has anyone stopped to think about how insurance and liability would work if you, as a Tesla owner, would put your vehicle out there to work as a Cyber-taxi? Is the vehicle owner liable or Tesla, being the driver of the vehicle with FSD?

  15. I have 2014 model s but with mcu2 upgrade. U can get mcu upgrade from tesla to ur mcu1 car. And on friday i finally got yt music on my 10yo car.

  16. I love my 2020 Model Y LR, but won't buy a new Tesla until they upgrade some of the amenities that Tesla leaves out. Rather than a downgraded barebones car being of interest, I want a Frunk that can be auto closed, a trunk that will open with a foot gesture if I have my keycard or iPhone on me (so that if I am carrying packages don't have to balance them in my hands or lean them against the car while trying to use the app to open the trunk), some real leather seats, a way to darken the glass in the sky roof when it is really bright outside, and maybe (not as important) a slightly wider seat. It bothers me when I see upgrades to the entertainment system while these functional upgrades are not addressed.
Also, while working on improving the Autopilot and FSD, the GPS system lags way behind in keeping up with roadway changes, such as states that renumber their exits on major Interstates (More than 3 years ago in New York), change interchanges that require different approaches, etc. If I am buying a premium car, I want to have luxurious premium features.

  17. I got my Tesla model S when it was three years old was used, it came with FSD, very low milage It still is the best car I have ever bought.

  18. The Uber app is crap, has less features and doesn't improve like other ride-sharing apps and their pricing makes them leave lots of money on the table even when the demand is high and supply low. It's actually shocking that they have 31,000 people working on the app. Musk can make a better product with 1 third of their current labour

  19. Elon sold me multiple cars and solar. He hasn’t changed, the leftists just went too far left.

  20. M3 depreciation is $224/mo vs MY depreciation of $372/mo when driven 1k miles per mo? So, over 36mo, the MY depreciation is $5328 more assuming similar models/trims/features. That’s insane.

  21. This "downgrade" is fine for me. If I get a Tesla, it is going to simply be a Point A to Point B daily driver. That rear monitor would not be used by me and back seat occupancy isn't likely to happen more than once every few months, at most.

  22. Perfect use by tesla for used and returned tesla's – refurb them and turn them into RoboTaxi's !

  23. I'm in favor of dropping the rear screen and making the interior lighting just white is OK with me. What I really want though is a hatchback model 3. I'm not buying one till I see that.

  24. Tesla is gonna sell u battery on wheels for 25k lol model 3 Is already barebones….and fsd still doesn't work as advertised over last decade. Elon should sell x buy polestar and put his software in it. You would have a better product than current models
.because fsd may take another 10years to be approved by nhtsa.😅

  25. Hopefully this will help Tesla charge 60k for new Model Y. The value is there, they just need to find ways to get people to see the value. Current Model Y deals are insane for what you are getting. A superior car, superior ride quality, superior sound dampening (with 3dmax spider), superior control, superior safety.. the list goes on. BUY NOW!!!!!!

  26. Recurrent is just guessing what your analytics are for your car. It’s the same anyone can get by a Google search for free

  27. Let’s be clear dropping the price 2700 dollars does not open it up to a new class of customers. Let’s around 45 dollars a month in savings. If you need that 45 dollars a month in savings, you can’t afford this car.
