The no disc drive thing there been trying to do is completely messed up. Try downloading forza motorsport 5 and guess what they took it off the store therefore for me who had already purchased it, they took away my game I bought. The digital world is like asking for a dictatorship for games. Its not really owning your game and its in their control whenever they decide to turn it off. Xbox knows better and has lost their integrity

Yes I use Playstation Portal, It's remote play, but it's better than 🥵 console. Buy portable monitor for Series S or G-STORY, DEPGI.

I got ps portal.. used bout 8 times. Always connection issues and disconnects. I got great internet, but still issues. I regret buying it. Then one day i read about the steamdeck oled, i bought it!! Ohhh Mannnn i love this thing!!!❤ so buying xbox handheld?? I dont think so. 👋

None of these updates spark my interest. I think I'm about done with consoles in general. I'm moving back to PC.

I think the disc drive is a classic but then who uses it nowerdays? Movies can be watched on websites, discs are wont even contain all the data for a game these days and probably gotta download more than the disc storage can give so if it goes in order to produce better gaming then im all for it

I decided to skip the series and ps5 generation entirely. Availability cut off my purchase for 2-3 years into the cycle. I'll just wait for ps6 and Xbox roundhouse

The day consoles go fully digital with no physical game disc is the day I quit gaming, and I've been gaming since the wooden Atari, Once consoles go completely digital it will kill the larger game community, trading games, lending your copy to a friend, second hand market will all be dead,
Also these greedy companies will be able to charge what they like, and we all know they won't pass on the savings from doing away with the disc drive,
Another note is who owns the digital copy? Is it us, the gamers, or them, will they be able to take the game from your library if they want to?
We've seen that play out already,
Just like digital cash they have the power, that is a sad thing for this gaming community I love which is a big part of my life.

Ref the handheld, this could be great but stick drift is real so better tech will be needed, as I don't want too spend £250 + on a handheld only for the main component the thumb sticks if they fail within months of buying one.

We really need too look beyond our initial excitement and understand these large companies motives more clearly,
For sure they'll sell us on all the bells and whistles of it but I guarantee they just see us as cash cows in this modern business model of fleece your users until they're bled dry time period we are living in.

Actually, personally, I don't have a problem paying £1000 for a console once every 7 years. The problem is that the only thing that gets better from generation to generation is their promises. They release a console, describe its maximum capabilities, and that's basically where it ends. They leave everything else to the developers.

I currently have an Xbox Series X and I've told myself that this is the last console I'll buy. I don't believe a single word they say anymore.

It's time to go back to PC. I like playing titles where, unfortunately, everything available on PC for free hits a big wall on consoles, and every possible add-on is paid. Minecraft is the best example of this. This was also one of the reasons why I bought a console. They were supposed to add Ray Tracing, but it ended up being just talk. They were supposed to add the Super Duper pack. After 4 years of waiting, they suddenly canceled it. I'm done with it.

Oh Yeah one more thing: 30fps! Reason ? Dev Artistic Vision…hahahahahaah. Please….

I believe Xbox and PlayStation need to go on a head and make a console that will be the same price as the computer that can be upgrade able so that way they don't have to keep coming out with new consoles every generation that will be easy for both companies

Nice consoles, but what games are we supposed to play on these? There hasn’t been a game made in the last 4-6yrs worth playing. Sure you have Conan, which tencent “Chinese” ruined, COD is too expensive and same game it has been for 15yrs. Game pass is garbage and isn’t worth what they are asking which is 16$ now instead of the 14$ that it was. X box needs to start producing some games worth playing and not worry so much about graphics. So tired of shitty games. Why can’t we get something worth playing and investing our time and money in?
