everything here looks like a dream for tennis fans but imo the gameplay looks DREADFUL! i'm going to wait for opinions about it but i feel like this one's gonna disappoint a lot of people for doing everything right minus the gameplay. it just looks off.

The players don’t even have the correct rackets they endorse!
They can’t even get the grip colors right for the players. Avid tennis players know that having the right grip is important to them so to not have a feature of choosing your grip or having the correct grips for the pros is a joke. It would take it to authentic level with the attention to detail
Can someone explain to me why rosters vary game to game? Is it a rights issue? How does that work? Why does this game have 120 players yet TopSpin2k barely has 15?💀 Is this a more official game? Bigger budget? In collaboration with ATP/WTA? Did the players work/voice on it? There’s been 100s of Tennis games yet they’re all so different.
Edit: Also I need to know if Nadal and Federer are playable and how the gameplay compares to the other ‘recent’ games like TopSpin2k, Tennis World Tour 2 and AOTennis2.

Smash Court Tennis 2, a game I played a decade ago and still these new games have only graphical differences, no major changes on realism, animations. Tennis games need a major leap similar to FIFA 15 did for FIFA series.
Why in the world can’t they animate the movement fluidly?
