Ella Purnell did a great job with her acting and it's a shame she wasn't nominated. Walter Coggins did a swell job with his performance and kudos to his nomination but Ella's performance complimented Walter's. Perhaps in season 2 she'll get recognized for her acting chops.

It didn't suck!!! Granted I would have done a few things different. The brotherhood scenes are tedious.
I also would have accelerated Lucy's decline just a bit. Along with exploring potential insemination in the first episode. One possibly balancing the other to a degree. Nutrition will absolutely be an issue necessitating early onset cannibalism. No fetal cannibalism need be explored because all fetuses are cannibal parasites.
More exploration of surface dweller characteristics/lives will be absolutely essential. The entire first season is based in character expansion and development. It's one of my favorite forms. You get in on the ground floor and we are talkin' maybe 10 years of a great show.
If we don't all get vaporized. Which could actually happen in the real world first.

If it's an annual triannual marriage trade with vault 32 how did vault 32 become corrupted so fast? 31 never changes and 32 went cannibal ghouls after a drought and or break in. There simply wasn't enough time for these things to actually occur unless Lucy and everyone else are merely adult clones with false past memories installed.
The surface dwellers could have come from past vaults balancing themselves I guess. The would account for all the weird surface shii too.
