  1. 5 mins into the video and I have still no idea what this thing does. Is there any use for a switch that isn't jailbroken.

  2. Nintendo and any aaa game company could sell their games for 50% less the price they do and still make a huge profit.
That’s why stuff like this exists.
Piracy is not the problem, corporate greed and gaslighting is.

  3. Wait so you’re telling me if I booted up pokemon SV on your emulation set up it would run better?!?!?!? SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY!!!!

  4. ‼️‼️‼️ 6:066:36
He says the emulator version runs butter but if you can see it's a much older version of Minecraft. You can tell as the boat doesn't have oars and the UI is different and then in the second shot it has oars and a newer ui

  5. Wait so I'm a little confused. So if I have bought a copy of TOTK, Dump it and put it on the MigSwitch, and I put mods on the dump, would I have a legit TOTK & a Modded TOTK that uses the same certificate? Would that modded TOTK br banned?

  6. So has nintendo confirmed that they will shut down switches playing the same cart? Like what about borrowing games from friends or renting. My local library lets you borrow games for free.

  7. If people return their games to stores after dumping it isnt that a problem? Im thinking that the store will just resell the game not knowing it has been dumped

  8. Can you test more games using the yuzu emulator on switch? That would be neat to see if there are more games that will work well if not better like minecraft.

  9. That's genuinely shocking how does an emulation of the same system is doing a better job than the actual thing

  10. I just wanna be able to play Dragon Ball Advanced Adventure on the Nintendo Switch & make it only a physical release!!!!

  11. Over over priced 200e. U could by games on sales. And it will be cheaper. Come one how many games u have? I have more than 30. And grab on sales lower than 100e. And I did not played on all of them yet. I wanna grab used Witcher etc. but mig comes. And no thanks. Also u need to have sd.

  12. The game runs better because the official Os actually under powers the hardware capabilities for longer battery life as underpowered chips are more efficient than less powerful ones meaning the windows os utilises the extra power on hand.

  13. So you could potentially put all your physical games on one cart and never have to carry them around again?

  14. Thank you for sharing this; I appreciate it. I also believe this will change everything.

Do these certificate files have identifiers that correspond to something within or on the cartridge, such as a serial number or another identifier? If so, it would be possible to set up a site where users can register the serial numbers of dumped certificates, with some kind of verification perhaps to prevent fakes. Perhaps an actual upload of the certificate or something. This way, others could look up whether a game with a specific certificate has already been dumped, similar to the "Have I Been Pwned" sites. Users would simply need the game's serial number or another identifier, paste it into the site, and see if the specific certificate has been dumped. Of course, this would require people to register dumped files as they find them. But it's better than nothing; it would provide a reliable method for checking if something has already been dumped.

  15. Looks like I’m gonna have to just keep buying games brand new and not from GameStop =

  16. Nintendo could encrypt the unique game id so that it needs to be ran on the switch OS to be able to run it. similar to what they are already doing with the game id but expanding the functionality of the id. the id would work like an encrypted password. and as much as I would hate for it to be the case, a scheduled routine update to refresh the switch OS and update the encryption software. this way anyone running old switch OS encryption profiles wouldn't be able to run the game if it required you to be online to do so.
now this wouldn't immediately solve the issue of more than one copy of the game being recognized but as time goes on when the wrong data is returned from a device Nintendo could blacklist that device from going live with that copy of that game.
as far as legalities are concerned, they could just update the end user license agreement with a section regarding the disposal of any copies of said game upon resell or return.
this would leave the functionality of the Mig-switch safe for those that want to back up their own games and in the inevitable future when the switch goes offline Nintendo could just remove the encryption or online requirement to run the games.

  17. I don't own a Nintendo Switch but I found your video fascinating and very understandable. I enjoyed waytching it and learned from it! Cheers.

  18. So. Essentially because people want to pirate games and dump them online, we won't be able to buy used games and be safe any longer.
Thanks guys, now I can't trust used market anymore and my only choice is to buy overpriced sealed physical copies or be forced to buy online games.
And the older the game, the more expensive it gets as there's fewer sealed copies around.
    Yay to piracy! 😀

  19. Because the peak Japan reaction would be for nobody to address the elephant in the room

  20. How the hell is Nintendo going to let random nobodies build a better Switch Engine bootleg than Nintendo's OFFICIAL system? They're never going to be able to live that down.

  21. The switch has so much potential. Its a shame and pathetic that the switch seems older than and worse than the wii and ds

  22. Does this allow you to swap files on the cartridge itself? Specifically changing the language versions?
