7 Days To Die 1.0 – New Console Edition (First Impressions)

Personally I refuse to pay $30+ for a game I've already paid for once, that I don't have access to anymore. It still was licensed with FunPimps name still on it, legally they were still connected to the game, and like I said, I refuse to buy a game AGAIN that I already had.

I can't handle the guns in this game. They're not even close I mean optics on the front of a pistol? Not to mention the iron sights just lookin thru the front sight? Lmao game devs if you don't know anything about firearms hire someone who does plz!

Why you use horde night every night? That's weird because the game name is 7 days to die. But yeah. That new version is really bullshit. I like to play that game but you can't do anything. You need so much points to get new recipes, you can't hit the zombies if you are out of stamina, you can't make water for easy way but you must find the waters. So really bullshit gameplay. I like the old version better. I'm Finnish player and I stream that game on twitch occasionally

Always wanted a game like this. A full on open world, real survival game in a apocalypse.

I love this game and have been playing it for years. Telling us it’s beta was funny. This game has been in perpetual beta for like 10 years. Most the time I would say that in a negative way but this game has genuinely been improved consistently over the years with new alphas coming out every few months. Great game. Lots of fun.

I bought into the "beta" on Xbox way back when.. then they went 10 years without updating the dawn thing.

Do the people who bought on ps4 have to buy it all over again?

It's not bad at all heck of a upgrade but once at tier 6 trader missions are impossible the lag that happens when to many zombies spawn is brutal

Achievements work as well , if you ja the digital version of the old one you can get it for a lower price for a limited time or if you have a disc like I do you get nothing

Im playing on the series x, im not shure if its a setting i accidentally pressed that I'm getting a whole bunch of lag spikes (not connected to internet)

Did they take away split screen with this update?..

I play with friends in console and solo on pc. I prefer controller so i hookup my Xbox controller to the pc. Pulling a trigger to fire feels better than clicking a mouse but you do sacrifice accuracy.

But i haven't noticed any big differences between pc and console other than graphics which really arent much different.

There a lot of different form pc and console at least for the graphics

I'm with you on the controller, I grew up with mouse and keyboard for 1st person stuff, and I just can't unlearn that muscle memory.

I gave up thinking they’d never update on console years ago. And also gave my console to my niece a month ago what perfect timing. Yay!

I really hope this update makes 7d2d explode on console, my friends have been stuck in the 7d stoneage so I can't wait for crossplay to set up a dedicated server for us to show them the ropes!
