This is what happens when you push out a new console just to compete when the previous console generation still hasn’t died yet and still has many more years of longevity especially since dropping a pro model. They barely have any games for the PS5 because in reality the ps5 shouldn’t have dropped until at least 2025, 2026 or even 2028. Consoles aren’t like what they used to be where we had such rapid advancement in gaming technology that we needed a new model sooner where as now we’ve advanced so far the consoles don’t need to be replaced as fast especially with the massive catalogue of games which you can get for so much cheaper instead of paying extra just to play with some new shade textures
Ghost of tsushima, rise of the ronin, elden ring, god of war ragnarok, spiderman miles morales, spiderman 2, resident evil remake 4, (don’t even try to say the game is just a remake, its incredible) tekken 8, doom eternal, last of us part 2, assassins creed mirage, call of duty modern warfare, assassins creed valhalla, (shit game but theres more) baldurs gate 3, horizon forbidden west, and don’t forget theres still so many games coming, gta 6, doom the dark ages, assassins creed shadows, venom, wolverine, and black ops 6. Soooo 15 games rn (might’ve missed some) and 7 more games coming, in totalllll 23 games
That's just crazy, I have not buy it because I don't feel the need to replace my PS4 yet. And now they are thinking of the PS6. I will just skip the PS5
Pc is the way to go! Neither one of these next gen consoles were worth the asking price. With PC its no stupid ass monthly pass to play online and you can mod any game you want anyway you want.🤷🏽♂️

Honestly the ps5 is really good. 120hz at 4k is a huge step up from the PS4, and in some games there are so much improvements in the graphics. And honestly the menu of it feels pretty good like a breath of fresh air from the ls4
The real news to me is that Daemon Hatfield still works at IGN. I haven't visited that site since about 2012, so I'm amazed anyone I recognize still works there.

Every console generation there will be diminishing returns. Like, what do you guys expect? The jump from 2D to 3D was massive back in the day.
