  1. Does PlayStation Allow Other Devices To use Copyright Material? Apparently Also Other Game System Games

  2. I dont know why people buy these massive horizontal emulators just buy a steam deck! If you want to play retro get something smaller these things are jist stupid

  3. What interface are you using at the end of the video, when scrolling through the different emulators? Looks great!

  4. the fact you can also get spares for this … im ordering mine. 1st time ive ever had a handheld. i hated all the older devices that were dropped frames / required so much attention to get going.

  5. As weird as this may sound, the main reason I can't bring myself to buying a steam deck is because of how butt ugly and clunky it is 🤦

  6. getting one today…..do you still feel the same now about it? ty for your vids 🙂 already have a rg556 which i enjoy.

  7. Odin 2s websites shut down my card. It’s bc it’s a sketchy Chinese website. I’ll get the steam deck

  8. What none (other than this guy) touch on is how its gunna take a lot of dicking around for hours to get your odin like this guys. SEriously, hours of screwing around doing tweaks and fixes, by the time your finished and it works, youl just be like ugh i dont wanna play it now. I sold mine after like 10 hours or so, 3 of those hours plus the time not counted download and troubleshooting roms is why i ditched it. so total play time was probably about an hour. Just not worth it, Do this on an old phone ie galaxy s23 just as good.

  9. I'm just discovering the hobby out of a desire to play some games of my childhood and have bought an Odin 1 Pro (as the base was discontinued).
I'm now looking for validation cause I'm afraid I've made a poor choice.
My original goal is to be able to emulate Xenoblade X, and hence buy a Steam Deck for this reason and others.
In the meantime, I wanted to buy a handheld that would be capable enough to run games comfortably up to the PS1 with games like the Xenogears or Vagrant Story. Ideally, it would also run some PS2 and GameCube games, and so I saw that the Odin 1 Pro was capable of such thing.
Do you think I made the right choice? I know nothing of the emulation world and the plethora of offers for handhelds made the whole research process a bit confusing for me…

  10. Downgrading the chip to a D1100-ish power (like the SD 778G/ 780G) at 5 watts for a passive cooled 'Odin 2 lite', would be my dream. 8gb with 128gb + sd card would be enough. 200-230$ would be good. Also I would downgrade the battery (from 8000 to 5000) to make it lighter to aim for around 330g.

  11. Today I'm starting three months of paternity leave. I already have a Steam Deck, but I'm looking for something smaller, with more battery life for emulating and tackling retro achievements, while being with the little one.

Your videos on the Odin 2 have made me decide to likely pull the trigger and place an order. Thanks for your time and passion.

  12. if it's only for emulation and android games, the price is waaaaaaaay too high.

  13. Been watching literally all of your reviews. I want to get my first handheld. I’m torn between the Odin 2 and the Retroid pocket 4 pro. I know you always talk about the Odin pro in your videos, just curious if it’s worth it to get the base model or if I’d be missing out on a ton (really just looking at price).

Also, your reviews are awesome. Crazy how helpful they can be with so many options to choose from in this market.

  14. Which is more plug and play for someone who isn’t really good with computers – aya pocket s or this??

  15. I’m still on the Odin 1 pro. Never had an issue playing any ps2 games x3 res. Probably will stick with this for a few years at least (:

  16. Just pulled the trigger on this tonight. Was torn between this and the RP4 pro, but found this for sale on ebay new for $220, so I pulled the trigger. $80 seems like a damn good deal to me, and that's basically RP4-Pro pricing. I love my RP3, but think this is worth a try given that I can't do PS2 or GC on mine.

….I CAN do it on my Cube, however, but the screen doesn't really make sense for PS2/GC, still not even sure why I bought the cube…

  17. At that price point just get a steam deck , you get emulation and pc gaming

  18. they need to make a lower budget steam deck. i don't want to play cyberpunk and witcher 3 on a handheld. i just want seamless access to my library of lower power pc games, and emulation up to ps2 on a relatively big screen.
on that note, something else that's missing from the range of available handhelds is a low budget, big screen device (that isn't completely terrible). i'm talking something with the same chip as the trimui smart pro, but with a 6-7 inch screen.

  19. U don't have enough time to play all the games for the systems. Sounds like a u problem buddy LOL

  20. I’d really love a handheld that somehow included emulators that support RetroAchievements.

  21. So much power caged in an android enviroment . Wish we had more than emulation and gacha games. Hope we get better titles for android.

  22. Practically on par with steam deck for emulation, steam deck has PC gaming and a better screen/hz for the upcharge at the price of lower battery. I think it's a sidegrade to eachother. The allrounder is definitely the Steam deck and it's not even close. Just having a regular PC browsing experience with a dock is already a gigantic upgrade for people that travel or something. If you only care about the emulation or something the Odin is probably the more cost efficient choice

  23. People making comments saying that the device is bad need to have some perspective You're not getting this to fulfill the same thing that you would get a full fledged mini PC like the GPD win mini or the legion go.

This is fulfilling the same market as something like the Logitech g cloud device except unlike that this is actually a super good Android device spec wise so you will have no problem running Android games as well as all the emulators and streaming services.

And you are getting much better specs than you could get on an Android phone for the same price point Yes many people do have higher end Android phones that are as good as this in which case it's re-matter of just having the control You're better off a backbone or a razor kishi or a gamesir Galileo controller for your phone.

So to me the perfect person for this is somebody who wants all of that but doesn't have that high-end Android phone and wants to stick using a hundred or $200 budget Android phone on a prepaid service.
You get one of these they're on sale nowadays for 300 bucks with top end Android phone specs except it's not a phone but it also has built-in controls that are going to be far more comfortable than your phone in a phone controller and you're not having to have constant interruptions to your gaming because your gaming on your main communication device

  24. I am torn between this and Retroid Pocket 4 Pro. Which one should I get?

  25. I sat and watched your videos non-stop over the past week and came to the conclusion that Odin2 is for me. PC games and more demanding emulators could work well over steam link I think so no need to grab a full deck.

  26. Hello any discount coupon now for odin 2 pro? Big help!! Planning to buy 1. Great vids as always sir. Thank you!

  27. Hi there . I am jumping into the bandwagon to get an emulator for myself . After a long thought, I'm gonna skip Retroid 4 & RG566 straight to Odin 2 . Will I regret for getting an Odin 2 and not the Pro model ?
