If Nintendo Switch 2 actually features retro-compatibility, releasing this bundle could really help to (re-)play New Horizons on the next console. It’s all advantages for both sides!

This would be pretty cool for the mig switch card reader to play it legally on PC.
This would be a 100% instant buy for me.
My cart is the day 1 version (I got it the day lockdown was announced in UK) and I have been watching for the price coming down.
I had to replace my day one switch last year but still have it (internal fan going, but have my inputs old dead one for replacement parts)
Started a new island after moving my main island to my new switch, so I need a spare cart.
This would solve both my worry of loosing the download issue (dead update servers ect) and let me play with two Islands.
Can i buy hhp dlc while playing on cassette acnh?

Actually, the thing about the lost digital updates is completely wrong. Even though the 3DS and Wii U eShop closed, you can still download update data. Trust me, I've tried.
If I got a 2020 cartridge and refused to update before playing, do you think I could find a hybrid flower island??

I bet it will be 2-3 years from now. ACNH is only 4 years old and it didn't come out until ACNL was 7 years old. The Switch 2 will only come out next year, so maybe the year after that (2026).

I feel like if there was a deluxe version, they should bring back the missing NPC characters with their shops, make the objects like the surfboards actually usable (like they do with the inner tubes in Pocket Camp, and expand even more on the idea of Animal Crossing with a "Getaway Package" with more updates

I like the idea of a full set. I might even buy it just for fun, even though I have literally two digital and one physical copy of ACNH in my possession. Also "expansion" 🙂
I feel like ACNH would lose a lot of appeal if they took away the design market online. It's a huge feature of creating the dream island.
I’m sad we didn’t get new creatures in any update, aside from when they added the base sea creatures

I already have a physical copy of ACNH but I would definitely buy another copy if it has the HHP EXPANSION on it. 🙂
My prediction is if they announce this, it will be in September and I say this because we normally get a direct in September and that's normally the last direct of the year.

I would definitely want a physical version with everything included but it would be a shame to pay for it again after paying for the same thing already. I do have a copy ACNH when it first came out so it is missing all of the digital updates.

I am curious to know Mori….are you in Europe or USA? Because I don't see this in USA, unless I bypassed some of the games with expansion packs in them.
Even when the eshop eventually closes, you’ll still have access to all of your purchases and updates
