All this is interesting!! But WHY do they keep making games for the 8th generation. The Xbox Series X/S been out for 4 years. Move on and upgrade people. This is why PC is gaining more traction.
Falcon, for the Doom Dark Ages thing, I'm pretty sure that's because Doomslayer was locked in a coffin since Medieval times, so this is his backstory? I could be wrong, I'm not a big Doom guy (pun intended), but I think that's the gist.

Falcon stating that Veilguard "looks like the Dragon Age you wanna play" is just more than a little tone-deaf. I personally enjoyed what has been shown, but there are clearly a lot of people who are disappointed.

What baffles me is we have now got to a point where people are saying this is a great xbox showcase but most of the games are 3rd party!!. Have we all just forgot what it was like when xbox and ps3 were showcasing exclusive banger after exclusive banger in the 360/ps3 days and now it's amazing for xbox to showcase 3rd party games!! What a joke. Unfortunately it just shows how far gaming as fallen 😢. What used to be 6 out of 10s are now seen as 10 out of 10s because the level has fallen so much!!
You got me all hyped up and made me think doom was coming out this year! I can’t wait until 2025! I’m kind of surprised they’re doing the medieval thing with doom instead of quake. I’m hyped either way. Should be really fun.

I'll probably give the new Gears one a shot if it looks fun or promising enough for the sake of childhood nostalgia. So far it looks like just another installment to me (nothing special).
The Clair Obscur one looks interesting. Might also give it a try.
